These bent on the first trip to the beach. Very poor quality and very weak. I do not recommend them at all - coming from a very careful person. A friend picked one up and bent it in half with the FIRST scoop of soft sand. Total waste of money.They are made of thin sheet metal that has -some- bends for strength. The problem is that there are no bends between the handle and the tool end, so it just bends when you try to scoop.

I clearly missed the word “metal” in the description. These were advertised along with beach items so I assumed they were plastic. I wouldn’t use them in the sand OR the garden. Too small and imho not safe for kids to be playing with metal tools (that will get hot in the sun and hurt when hit or dropped on child skin). I can’t see the wooden handles lasting very long either - soon to splinter. Made in China FYI...

We bought these for our little boys to take on our beach trip. They were a hit!

I don’t know why I didn’t realize that these are only about 6 inches from the Tip of the wooden end to the tip of the metal end. Also, doesn’t hold up very well - they will look old and rusty pretty quickly outside. Not sure there is a better option for that though unless you just go full plastic which isn’t as strong sometimes.

Not meant to get wet! 8” long not 8” handle. Small, small meant for toddlers but made out of real wood and real metal so be careful.

Great, sturdy beach toys that will last. My 3 year old had a blast with them at the beach.

These toys are sturdier than others we've had. The kids enjoy using them.
