Soft, light-weight material, but several layers' worth, so it isn't TOO light. It's lined, and additionally, the decorative pieces of fabric sewn on the outside of the skirt provide extra modesty, so it isn't see-through.This is the third skirt I've bought from Scarlet Darkness, and the fit is consistent. Be warned: these skirts are cut to fit at your natural waist, which means they hang longer than you might expect if you are like me and tend to wear your skirts lower on your hips.Like their other skirts, there is ample fabric (although to be fair, I bought the largest size, XXL), the cut is flattering, the design attractive, and the material nice and flowy. I could easily see myself buying another in the different color.

Clarification: I don’t go to renaissance fairs, and I’m not much on vamping it up. I’ve got a boho/eclectic style and I’m in love.It’s lightweight, but will work with boots on winter. It’s not a circle skirt, but is very very full. It has…random pieces of material sewn to the sides, but they WORK to make a gorgeous effect. It looks so much more expensive than it is. It looks high fashion. It’s even lined. What’s more, it’s got an elastic waist, so it will fit me for months on my weight loss journey.I am absolutely delighted.

Love the style and color but I don't believe they run small. I went with what was said about size and got a large but should have bought what normally wear a medium. Next one will be a medium. Very nice skirt very soft.

The skirt is great, it's comfortable and true to size. The buttons on the skirt hikes both came off the first time I wore it so I recommend reinforcing those so you don't lose the matching buttons like I did.

I bought this skirt to dress up for the Renaissance Fair. I spent a bit more than I was hoping for, but this skirt beat my expectations. Great quality and exactly the look I was going for. I'm glad I gave it a try and have already worn it for other outfits.

This looks like denim but not! Love it tho very beautiful! Just be careful when ironing. It’s that type of fabric that could melt I think. I had to hem about 3 inches off it to be at ankle length for our 5” daughter

I wore this skirt to the Ren Faire layered with another skirt and it was so comfortable. The fabric is layered and somewhat thick so there were even moments where I felt quite warm in my outfit. I bought a size small as a 5 foot 120lb person and it barely dusted the ground. It did come very wrinkled out of the package but I was able to steam it and it ended up wrinkle free.

Im 5'2 and weight 130lb. The length is fine for me. It fits perfectly around my waist and the material is soft and somewhat heavy, which make the skirt fall just right. Has pockets 😊. Really great skirt

The fabric does not wrap around, it cuts off at sides and looks cheep or ragged..I wouldn't suggest this style.Fabric is ok tho
