ScanNCut DX SDX325 Electronic Cutting Machine

I bought this mainly to connect to my brother embroidery machine so I can transfer patterns back-and-forth and it works so well. I have a cricut also which I will not get rid of cause I think it’s a little easier to use, but I haven’t used this that much so that might be a false statement.

I have had 3 cricuts and none can even compare to this one . It is amazing.

I’ve used other cutting machine before but the brother is hands down for cutting material such as felt! Its amazing, the only complain… their sticky mats loose their stickiness real fast, and they aren’t as easy to clean as others.

purchased the cutter to use for quilt applique designs. If you are doing multiple cuts of the same design, it is great. If you are cutting really intricate designs, it is great. For me, when cutting simple one-piece designs, it takes longer to set everything up and clean the mat afterwards then to simple use scissors and cut the design out. For me, this is one of those expensive purchases that didn't work out the way the advertising claims.
