A perfect magnifier. Well made and not as expensive as some. Good value for money

Headband Magnifier is comfortable to use. With the lenses raised I forgot they were on my head .Build quality good for the price. Lenses are glass.The storage box for the lenses does not store the lenses with the locating pins fitted, unless the supports are cut down.These work while wearing glasses . The magnification provided by this type of magnifier is inherently fairly limited.

Just used to see what I was doing whilst I replaced a watch battery. Very comfortable compared to my previous headset. Multiple lens options - not used yet. Great value.

If you're a casual user of this type of thing, it represents excellent value for money. The build quality is better than I expected but then again not up to the same standard as an original Donegal Optivisor. But that is what you sort of expect for a quarter the price. Actually, if you were to add up the value of all the extra lenses you would have to either purchase separately from Donegal or purchase the master kit at over 400 pounds, this magnifying visor represents excellent value. The adjustments are stiff and clunky compared to the donegal and the headband padding may need to be replaced sooner but it is sturdily made and the magnification and clarity of the lenses is good. Time will tell if they scratch easier than the Donegal items but if you look after it and keep it protected from damage it should outlast all of us. I recommend this item.

Best magnifying glasses I have ever used. And I have tried many in my time

I was really surprised at the quality of the lenses. The enclosed leaflet says they are crown glass, and I can't see any chromatic aberration.The headband is comfortable, and the visor has screws so you can set it as stiff as you like to make it stay in position.These don't do very much different from a pair of strong reading glasses, but you don't lose these as you do with spectacles when you take them off and put them down!My only disappointment is that the lens unit (there are four provided, of varying strengths) is held in place with two small plastic rivets, which are fiddly and easy to lose. I'd like to have a seen a slot you could slide the lens assembly into. However, there are spare rivets included.
