It seems that the materials are reacting to the water in some way which cannot be a good thing - maybe these bowls are just too biodegradable for filling with water? Even the bowl with a crack down the side keeps going. Once past their original useful life I will then compost them & buy replacements. Can't do that with plastic bowls. Our dog managed to get into the kitchen and knocked her foodbowl off the worktop onto the floor. A big chunk of it broke off so it was unusable! The biggest reason I've given this 5 stars is because the bowls are good if not thrown around and when I complained to Amazon about how easily it broke, they sent me a new one the very next day! I've spent over an hour scraping the glue off by running hot water over it and using my nail. If that hadn't of worked I'd have had to get the solvents out.Its an eco-friendly bowl that needs less than eco-friendly methods to remove the label.But I still love it!!!The bowl doesn't have rubber non-slip bits on the bottom, but its sufficiently heavy that it doesn't skid around with the over-zealous dog we have. But that said its not stupidly heavy like a ceramic one.One thing I think its missing is little cutaways so that you can pick it up off the floor easier without putting your fingers inside. This would be more important if I was using it for food rather than water.Its easily cleaned in the dishwasher which is a great bonus and doesn't seem to get as dirty as the stainless steel one I had previously. Einfach sauber zu machen - und im Geschirrspüler können die auch.Ich benutze diese BecoThings Hundenapfe für hartes Futter. Die Farbe Lichtblau is so wie auf das Bild, eine hippe Farbe. Das ökologische aber auch moderne Aspekt war mir sehr wichtig und ich bin sehr zufrieden das diese Napf dazu auch noch sehr Preiswert ist.Für auf Reisen sind die Napfen auch einfach mit zu nehmen, nicht zu schwer und nicht zu leicht.Wenn es mal (irgendwann) kaputt ist, kann ich es mit gutem Gewissen beim Biomüll legen. Das ethische fühlt sich gut an, das kommt auch noch dazu! Ich hoffe es gibt bald mehr Producten aus dieses Material. Schadstofffrei, öko und vegan (für mich wichtig).
