The jingles ring nicely. Best one of 3 I tried. Get what you pay for.

Heavy!
Yes I know many other people have said this is heavy, but it really is! I ended up sending mine back for a number of reasons. Mainly was the sound quality. It's near identical to a cheap one I have that cost about ยฃ9, so the cost was impossible to justify. There's no doubt the build quality is excellent like a number of other Meinl products I have. It certainly feels like you could give it a lot of abuse and it'll last forever, but the weight made it hard to control and get any consistent volume other than loud. If the hand grip was moved inwards like some other half-moon shaped types then it may be easier to control. I was tempted to get the tools out and try adapting it, but there was little point as I already have one like that with similar sound that was also a lot cheaper. Having read some additional reviews I'm going to try the Meinl Compact Super Dry instead. When I get that I'll post a review of my thoughts.

I have used several of these along with other Meinl tambourines over the past two years and the build quality is poor. They fall apart after standard use
Not impressed. I have used several of these along with other Meinl tambourines over the past two years and the build quality is poor. They fall apart after standard use, and the foam handle comes loose and needs replacing with tape after a few weeks.
