Quick and easy to connect up external SATA hard disks
I've had a few old drives around that I wanted to test and check what was on them. This is a cost effective way to be able to quickly connect them up. With no enclosure needed, you just plug it onto the drive connector and then into your PC and it acts like an external USB drive.The cable and connector quality is nice - it feels sturdy and should hold up to regular plugging/unplugging of the drives.

This Converter Cable fits perfectly and is ready to use out of the packaging, like most USB based leads.I was worried if I would need an External USB SATA with a power supply or one without, and after lots of research, I discovered this Adapter for SSD Drive would work fine.Definitely good value for money.

Bought this as myu Windows install went belly up and thought I'sd lost all the date on my SSD drive. MAnaged to use this to attach my drive to a different PC and copy most of my important files across.

Perfecto. Tenía dudas sobre si realmente era 3.0, (y eso que veo que otros tienen un doble cable como alimentación) pero no solo me ha sorprendido por lo bien hecho y los materiales de fabricación -el conector es bastante rígido y el cable de muy buena calidad- sino que la velocidad de transferencia es impresionante. Lo he comprado para un Atomos Assassin y lo estoy usando en un SSD SANDISK EXTREME II 480Gb y la velocidad de transferencia es de 400mb/s tanto en lectura como escritura (probado con BlackMagic speed test). Copia 20gb en menos de 1 minuto.RECOMENDADÍSIMO.

Shipping was quicker than expected :) always good!I used this adapter to connect a old SATA2 HDD 2.5" to a USB 2.0 port of my computer.This adapter allow you to recycle a old internal drive into a External backup drive.
