Seems to work
Positives; it’s well made, hinge design is good in that it is largely external to the pipe when fitted so doesn’t reduce its bore, and the nut tightening mechanism to fit it works well. Sizeable metal ‘stop’ prevents loss down the sewer if it comes loose. Negative; CHECK YOUR INSPECTION CHAMBER before ordering- I discovered that the inflows and outflow pipes all had significant overhangs of the brick walls above them ,which meant I couldn’t use the fitting rod from the surface to place the rat wall. Fortunately a bucket of caustic soda/water mix poured over the inside of the chamber carefully and then a rinse off with a hose made getting down there to place the rat wall and manually adjust the nut a lot less unpleasant!

Works well and good material/manufacture
Easy to fit but care needed that the drain is a straight piece otherwise may be difficult for a corner

Works well without serated flap edge.
Fitted easily in the drainage channel which was a good start. The flap to stop rats entering worked smoothly and has proven to continue to work well (2 weeks after installation) so far - so good. The flap is NOT serated. Serated flaps catch on toilet paper and block up your sewer. Our sewer line has a very shallow gradient but even so the rat blocker works well. Would have been 5 stars if the supplier had included a wire to hang the warning lable on the inside of the inspection chamber.

Easy to install rat wall.
This really does the job. Good quality , very flexible strong steel and the flap is well fitted so as not to cause blockages. It was very easy to install. I fitted mine using the nut provided but I think I will purchase the fitting pole for future needs to avoid putting hand into the murky depths. It is just the job. Only downside I can see is the ridiculous price , it can’t ever be described as value for money.

Expensive and needed modifying!
The device is overpriced and does not work properly when reversing the flap for an outlet. Firstly, I wanted to fit to the sewer inlet pipe, however because the sewer half pipe wasn't perfectly aligned with the inlet pipe, it would not slide in no matter how hard I tried. So I had to reverse the flap and fit to the offending outlet pipe. But when tested the flap kept getting stuck open. On further investigation, I noticed that there were sharp points around the flap that were catching on the housing. I had to dismantle the device, file off the sharp points and reassemble, and then it worked fine. Unfortunately I had to buy and modify a second device as we have two outlets from the house. Over £200 spent so hopefully this will stop any rats getting up the soil stack and eating through the toilet connector pipe. Edit: 2/12/19 Just added a photo showing what a rat did to the toilet flexi connector in our ensuite, and why I had to do whatever it takes to stop it happening again!

Good if channel is perfectly standard. Otherwise it's too rigid to cope.
Works well when the channel is straight and there is no concrete overspill into the channel. Anything other than a "perfect" channel and it just won't fit.

So far so good, very well made.
All good so far, no issues to report. Been fitted for a Month, bought 2 of them so cover both areas needed. The main criticism is the price of these, when you take them out the box you do wonder about the cost, however it is I suppose a price worth paying given the other option...! Definitely something worth having.

Not worth the price being charged
When I looked up the reviews this looked worth the money but having received it I'm really disappointed, although it may surve the purpose but I certainly do not think it is worth the price being charged, even it has been laser cut etc. There are others on tge market at half the price & very similar in design I wish I had chosen one of them before fitting it. Let's see if it does the job & how long it lasts???
