You know those annoying switches that are intended to turn lamps on and off? You know, because who wants overhead lighting? Me! Paid extra to get the ceiling light fixtures put in when buying the house. Of course then about half of your outlets are subject to getting turned off randomly by kids, clumsiness, etc. and always at that moment when the laser printer that rarely gets used is in the act of actually printing and everything goes off the rails. These amazing switch covers put an end to all that! Easy to install, aesthetically pleasing, prevent accidental switching off (or on, if that's your thing), and can easily be opened for switch access without removing the whole assembly. Why didn't I discover these sooner? Highly recommended!

Very easy to install. Works great! We have been using it for almost a year and a half and it did break on the bottom yesterday I think from being slammed too hard, but I’m not sure. It is a little difficult to open when wearing long nails.

UPDATED: So, we have had these for a few months now, and for the most part they’ve been great. However, I am now back to purchase a third 4-pack because the little plastic push clip, which gets used fairly often on some switches, breaks quite easily. If you put a bit too much pressure or try to push the cover on too aggressively, the push clip will break rendering the cover useless. Especially when you install the clip upwards as we do; causing the cover to flop down and remain open. Ultimately, we like the esthetics of these clear covers, they’ve worked fairly well for our needs, but I would say stock up because you may be swapping them out every few months or so in high use areas which isn’t the most convenient. * * We have a toddler who recently grew just tall enough to reach our light switches and thought it would be fun to turn on and off the lights at the most opportune moments. While I was washing dishes. While I was sweeping. While I was cooking dinner… yea… that was fun…. So, to say these have been a Godsend would be an understatement! They were easy to install, blend well, and now that she knows she can’t get to the switches she doesn’t even pay attention to them anymore. We did install them with the latch at the top - it just seemed to make for easier use for our household, but they can be installed either way. If you’re on the fence, and have a toddler who likes to start a potentially seizure-inducing lightshow for funzies, stop thinking about it and just get these!

Was very satisfied when it came to its well made and can be accessed if you lift the cover. It’s clear and very well made. Comes with longer screws which makes it easier to install

My daughter who is 2 love love loves to turn off and on light switches. In her room she will turn off her ceiling fan and turn on her light and won’t be able to figure how to turn her fan back on because it has to be turned on from the remote. Well in the summer time her room is the hottest part of the house. Horrible I know. I tired duct taping her switch I tried clear regular tape I’ve tried hiding it with furniture and she would still get to it. So I looked on Amazon to see if there was any such thing as a switch cover and omg I found this and it’s amazing. So easy to install. Looks great. Easy to open up and use the switch if needed. Strong plastic. Great value. Update she can now open the switch cover so I’m at a loss now 🤪

These lasted less than two weeks after installing. The plastic clip that holds them closed is very cheap. Breaks easily. Covers were only opened a few times each. DO NOT BUY! UPDATE: This was for the clear version.
