1000W Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter 4 AC Receptacles Dual USB Ports 12VDC to 110V 120VAC Car Inverter with Remote Control and LED Display (Surge 2000Watts)

This inverter is wonderful and my sensitive electronics seem to like it as much as I do. I've only used it for 4 months now and have no complaints at all. Packaging, shipping, and product performance are exceptional. I live off-grid using a battery system and invert from 12v to 110. The product description was accurate and the inverter has performed very well. The fan rarely kicks in so the quiet functionality is the inverter's shining quality. Not being familiar with the brand Pooxtra, I was hesitant to purchase it at first. Again, I've only used it for 4 months so we will see how well it holds up over the long haul.

I am slightly disappointed to read that this unit has a max output of 8.3 amps, despite the surge capability. It won’t run most power tools which are rated at 9 or more. Also two pc’s using 5 amps won’t work. Otherwise, works fine.

Things to know: 1) The terminal connections at the back are not protected, could use some type of cover. 2) The manual states you need a fuse for the positive side close to the battery terminal. This is not included and requires a fuse/housing/wire/connectors. 3) The remote switch has no way to fasten it to the wall etc. I used two sided tape. 5) You cannot mount inverter vertically with the plugs facing up as I intended. No reason was stated other than not to. So I fastened to a wall horizontally and now the LED read out is upside down. 6) For the 1000w version, they want it to have only 1.5m of #8 wire to the battery, which is pretty short, and you are supplied with 2.5ft of wire.I have not put a big load on it so not sure of how well it functions. Will update.
