Not as good as the original, but still worth a watch

THE EXORCIST BELIEVER Blu-ray/4K Limited edition. only 2000 Worldwide.PLOT...When two girls disappear into the woods and return three days later with no memory of what happened to them, the father of one girl seeks out Chris MacNeil, who's been forever altered by what happened to her daughter fifty years ago.I personally loved this continuation of the Exorcist from 1973, its a good strong serious straight up horror! Forget the sequels that were made years ago this is the true modern sequel to the original. Not directly of course, the story is completely fresh and goes in a slightly different direction but the connection to the original is still strong with the same demon this time in possession of two young girls simultaneously! Plus plenty other nods too such as returning actress Ellen Burstyn who plays Chris MacNeil the mother of Regan from the 1973 movie. The two actresses who play the possessed girls are very good, there's plenty of gross and scary scenes of possession and some violence, all done very intensely especially the finale. The original was 60% an exorcism story where this is probably more 40% but its great horror entertainment anyway, its good to see a straight well done possession movie for a change with all the current slasher horror. Well worth checking out if you love the original, there's a nice Cameo too from the original leading lady Linda Blair as Regan MacNeil.Picture on the Blu-ray and 4K disc looks great!Features include commentary, and plenty mini featurettes (35mins)Region FREE. I hated the fact I fell to sleep 3 times on attempting to watch the movie.It wasn’t u till the 4th I stayed awake, by then I’d lost all interest in the whole movie.Still can’t remember what happened and what didn’t happen. Lost any hope of all interest in ANYTHING if it takes more then 3 times to watch a movie. X

Sad but true. The spiritual superheroes vs Satan. Who wins? Well it depends… the one star goes to Linda Blair! She will always be a star in my book. But for the rest, I mean…. Bad plot, bad acting, bad script, super funny, and lost. It was worse than the prequel that was sent to the theatres a while ago. & to think that I even enjoyed The Exorcist 2…. If you want to laugh, watch this film…. If not, you’ll be wasting an evening.

Few surprises, great storyline.Would recommend to all horror fans

Well you would have to have sympathy for him as he seems to be loosing his powers. It didn't take long for some of the community to vanquish him. Two young girls disappear for three days and then show up showing signs of possession. One of the fathers contacts Ellen Burstyn, recreating her role of fifty years ago, for help.This movie is not a patch on the original. It's not really scary but it holds your attention for almost 2 hours.I was hoping for more than what was offered.This is the first in a trilogy planned. Hopefully, the next two are a lot better. They have fired the director from this movie from directing the next one.Linda Blair also reprises her role in a cameo appearance at the end of the movie as the grown up Regan.There is over 30 minutes of bonus material included.There are two versions to this movie. I have the European release. The American version has added footage of the priest's neck being turned around until it snaps. In the U.S. release his neck keeps on spinning round.So it's up to you to decide which version you want.

Good movie worth a watch

I will say nothing special last one's are much better specifically the one made in Africa

Esta edición UK, tiene castellano y si la consigues como yo a 12€, una vez vista te parecerá caro.Reviven la saga, vendiendo la nostalgia de la vuelta de Linda Blair y de verdad, no es para tanto.No entraré en spoilers, quieres ver una película del "exorcista" , para eso está "El Exorcista" de 1973.Buena película, sino piensas que es una secuela del "exorcista" y la ves como un película de terror más.Lo peor la primera, de una nueva trilogía.Envío por Amazon 5 estrellas.
