Unfortunately, I hadn't realized that my table saw is not magnetic, so I haven't used it much, but from what I've seen, it performs as expected.

I don't know much abiut these dials but it's working perfectly for my needs. I wish the case was metal. The magnet and adjustable arm are much better than the other style I had before. I took the audio out of my video because it wasn't relevant to the review but you can see it produces consistent readings that are inline with what I expect from the project I am measuring.
