How do these fit into the Metroflat? I can't seem to take the end cap off to slide them on.

With brut force!! The end caps I had on my metropole were stiff but did eventually come off. The drawstring pole came off a lot easier and you could slide them on unlike the standard pole. As mine was a ceiling fix I had to take the pole down to get the end cap off. Hope this helps.

please could you tell me the diameter of the base that goes into the track? I am looking for sliders that are 11mm

From a recent purchase of sliders from Penbrice Interiors, West Wickham BR4 9JF., The width (diameter) of the slider that fits into the track is 10mm. The hole in the slider for the curtain hook is 5mm. This is for a Silent Gliss 6143 Track.
