Is it ok to hang it outdoor?

Yes, certainly. Due to the thermometer humidity meter is not waterproof, pls avoid to use it in rainy day.

Is the meter locked for shipping, and what are the two adjustment holes for on the back

It comes as you see it in the bottom picture, you can use it straight out of the box. The gauges are not lock and as far as mines goes the holes in the back are not for adjustment its the end of the dials. I use mines in the greenhouse worked OK so far. Hope this helps you.

Is the Temperature accurate?

The temperature appears to be quite accurate, I don’t have anything to compare it with though!
