Most of it is plastic but it is well made. The push button to change the water stream works much better than a dial. I bought this to replace a 13 year old Hansgrohe hand held shower.

Cheap Cheap Garbage Metal
The overpriced Shower head is just over 4 years old and the threaded handle actually broke off in the Hose end. Thats supposed to be 100% brass. Complete BS. Hans Grohe is complete garbage. My $500 kitchen faucet leaked within three years. Hans Grohe is simply living off their name. Buy Kohler
