Good for Both Big and Small Heads - Easy to Adjust
This head strap has been a great upgrade for our Quest 3. I’ve got a pretty big head, and it fits me comfortably without any pressure points. What’s even better is that my wife, who has a much smaller head, can adjust it in seconds and get a secure, comfortable fit too. The quick adjustment is a huge plus for shared use. Overall, it’s sturdy, comfortable, and makes swapping players really simple.

Much more comfortable and easy to put on/take off than the stock strap
The Meta Quest 3's stock strap sucks, so you'll want a replacement. The Damonlight strap is a good choice. To install the DamonLight strap, users must first remove the original strap and facial interface. My DamonLight strap came in two pieces. You have to snap the back cushion piece into the the white plastic frame, and then it becomes one piece. The original facial interface piece can then be put back on the headset. Finally, thread the actual strap of the DamonLight through the corresponding notch on the headset. The whole process takes about 5-10 minutes. The DamonLight strap has a white outer frame that extends all the way around the user's head. This frame has a joint that allows the user to tilt the back of the headset up when putting on or taking off the headset. DamonLight's strap has two easy-to-use size adjustments. To extend or shrink the plastic frame to the size of the user's head, rotate the circular knob on the back of the frame. As for the actual black strap on top, it can be adjusted with Velcro. The DamonLight strap is easier to put on, adjust, and take off than the stock Meta Quest 3 strap. It's also more comfortable to wear thanks to the cushion on the inside rear of the frame. There's one catch: the strap (frame) is kind of large. With the frame fully retracted, the headset with strap measures approximately 11 inches long. That will be too large to fit in some headset cases. Issues with finding a case aside, I love the convenience and comfort of the DamonLight Adjustable Strap. Very comfortable strap and surprisingly decent quality for the price
A lot more comfortable than the soft strap included with the Q3 and very light weight, so it adds good support without pushing up the overall weight much. Better quality than I was expecting for the price. I've gone back and forth between this and another similar looking strap with a battery for the last few days. The details of this design are better executed than the other one I have. Good action on the hinges and I appreciate that the ring that goes on the back of your head is on a pivoting mount instead of a fixed angle like the other one I have. Once I had everything adjusted this really took a lot of weight and pressure off my face. The main moving part, the adjustment dial, seems solid so far, doesn't feel as cheap as some others I have tried but it's really early in the lifespan so will have to let some time pass and see how it holds up. The top strap looks almost ridiculously over padded when you first take this out of the box, but after some use I'm a fan of that choice. It has flattened out a bit after some wear and doesn't look quite so thick, but it really is more comfortable than some other top straps I've had on other HMDs. I can tighten the top strap and arrange the rear skull cup so that the HMD unit is just lightly making contact with my face, just enough so I'm not getting a lot of light leakage. Overall good design, this is the one I am using most of the 3 I have currently.

Works fine, not a good fit for my head
This strap looks and works like advertised, but it wasn't a comfortable fit for my head. Pros: Easy to install, feels secure enough on the device, fits the Q3 well, doesn't add much weight, and was not hard to remove. Cons: For me, the bottom of the back headrest pokes sharply into the base of my neck. And the padding doesn't go around those edges, so they are hard plastic. This setup did take some of the pressure off of my face, but adding it to the base of my skull like that was pretty painful. But we all have different shaped heads, and this probably will wrap around the back of the skull nicely for others and be fine. I could kind of make it work by putting it in the upright position (intended to rotate the device up and above your eyes). Tightening it down in that position does work, and it put the pressure just slightly higher on the back of my head, but I had to keep it very tight on the face to keep it from sliding down and poking me in the neck again. And I worked with it like that until my halo style strap came in. Overall I'd still say it's worth a try if you prefer over the head style straps.

I was torn between this and the BoboVR S3 Pro. If you are okay with using a standard battery charger, this will be better since this is lighter and is actually an elite head strap. If you add a memory foam face interface , it will be more comfortable. Only reason to get a HALO type strap is to REMOVE the pressure in the face. If being light and stable is your priority without breaking the bank for gimmicky upgrades that makes the headset heavier, this strap is one of the best. Simple, effective, cheap elite head strap.

Made wearing the quest 3 much enjoyable compared to stock painful strap. 1- much lighter than kiwi strap with battery 2- using my own fast charging 10000mah power bank strapped on the back as a counter weight..while it fully charges within one hour and half, it solved the annoying buzzing noise. 3- to give the credit to kiwi..it kinda look higher quality but i hope this one works and doesn’t break as i love it much more than kiwi. 4-with this strap and amvr facial interface i can wear the quest for hours without any discomfort. Higher recommended especially after strapping a fast charging power bank.

I’ve been using the DamonLight Quest 3 Headstrap for a few weeks now, and I can confidently say it’s a game-changer for the Meta Quest 3. The comfort level is miles ahead of the stock strap — it distributes the weight much better and reduces that front-heavy feeling during long play sessions. The materials feel premium and durable, with soft padding and a solid adjustable mechanism that locks in place and stays put. I especially appreciate the easy adjustability mid-game and how it fits snugly without putting pressure on my face or head. Whether I'm gaming for 30 minutes or diving in for hours, this strap keeps everything stable and comfortable. No more readjusting constantly or dealing with headaches after a session. If you’re serious about getting the most out of your Quest 3, the DamonLight headstrap is absolutely worth the upgrade. Highly recommended!
