Dr. Scholl'swomens Brilliance Wide Calf Riding Boot

I wear a 7.5, but I had to get this in an 8 as my feet are short but wide and this shoe has a narrow shape. This worked out well as my foot is snug but not constricted, and the wide calf fits my 17-inch calves perfectly. Not much wiggle room and no stretch in his area, so if you have calves that are 17.5in or larger, I'd pass on this shoe. Find something with garter material. I know if I wear thick, tall boot socks these will be too snug, so stockings or leggings with crew socks will have to do for these. The ankles are a little baggy but that's expected; if you're looking for a clean slim line that makes your legs look long and sleek, this isn't going to be perfect, but it works for me. The heel is the perfect height as it gives my legs a great silhouette without ax excessively high heel. Over all it's exactly what I'm looking for.

These boots are comfortable, they fit well and I am really pleased with them so far. I applied an additional water proof coating on them and they are ready for whatever winter brings.

Adorable and comfy ! It fits a wide calf but definitely size up ! I usually wear a 7.5 and ordered an 8. It’s still too tight around my foot. Hopefully the 8.5 will fit well

Couldn't get my foot in, much less my ankle or calf. Runs really small.

Looks nice with a country look but it can be ware with snything

Usually a 8.5 or 9, so I got 9 just to be safe and even without socks my toes were squished. Not as tall as I thought they would be and the texture in the photos were actually just smooth in person. Wide calf was as expected but everything else lacked. Disappointed.

I. Love. This. Boot!!! I was looking for a simple design in a wide calf, and I finally found it! They are so comfortable, too. I have a 17-3/4" calf and it fits perfectly. Simple. Classy. Timeless. I ordered pairs in brown and black, and they're all I'm going to wear for work and play this fall and winter. I think I'm going to order two more pair so I'll have them when these wear out, that's how much I love these!

I love the style and fit. But they do run small as other reviews have said.Another review said they are kinda bulky at the ankles which I also found to be true.One of my calves is about 18" and the boot *just* fits but is tight and sometimes I have to leave the top inch or so unzipped.Overall if I wanted another pair of taller boots like these I would go for a flatter sole but that's just my personal sensory preferences.Comfort I think is subjective. I don't find them to be comfortable for more than 4 or 5 hours of sitting and standing.But again I usually wear a lower heel and this time I wanted to have cuter boots that look dressier.I don't know how they hold up to winter temps yet, but I think I'd wear snow boots till I got to work or wherever, then change into these boots. Pretty boot and comfortable, wide calve worked perfect (this is where I always have issues with boots). However, if you have a wide foot or flat footed, get a size up. I generally always wear a size 10, I had to get an 11. The 10 was very tight and uncomfortable. Otherwise, great boot and good quality.
