This book puts forth the epitome of what a sincere spiritual aspirant should aspire to reach in devotion with practical, vedantic explanations.When I was given this book I thought it would be just another fictional-missionary-style book that almost every religion is flooding the bookstalls with; but when I started to read, the wonderful storeytelling of the deepest of pure devotion caught my attention so that I had to complete reading this book as soon as possible. I ended up recommending this book to my like minded friends.The author boldly puts forth the concepts of responsibility for ones own action, the total surrender, absolute faith, ultimate loyalty, use of intellect for discrimination etc. that are so very necessary for spiritual progress.This book is for sincere, serious spiritual aspirants. The various concepts are very good meditation subjects. This book is to be read again and again.

This book has been very fulfilling for me to read. It really took me into the story and I felt as though I was there. It showed me the amazing love that christ has for me and took me to the foot of the cross where I saw the agony my saviour went through. I understand now how much more I need to pray unceasingly for my unbelieving family and friends and how much more I need to pray and chat to God every day. I highly recommend this book to anyone who would like a closer walk with God. Thank you Doug for all the work you have put into yet again another wonderful book. Rose Brousard......Australia.

This is a great book. Haven't finished reading all of it, but it sure points out God's love to save people from their sins, and that we should judgement one another, because all have sin and come short of the glory of GOD. The Holy Scriptures also says let the whole World be found guilty before GOD. In each of our lives we have disobeyed the commandments, but thank GOD for Jesus Christ who came to redeem man from their sins and reconcile us back to Christ.

Doug Batchelor has a way of taking biblical stories and making them relevant to our lives today. I would recommend this book to anyone who struggles with feeling "good enough" that God could love them...

Highly recommend this book. It was a fabulous read, with lots of great information. So thorough, it will have you looking at the Bible differently -with greater understanding. Loved it. Recommended, and gave my copy away... but just repurchased - definitely will read again.

When reading this book I felt as if I was mary and was about to be stoned.It felt as if I myself was walking with JESUS. I woulg recommend this book to everyone.

Lovely book, uplifting and motivational. Shows what a good woman is and how faith and love works.

I still haven't finished reading this.... But so far what an amazing story...
