I will say, that I bought the 2X because that's what I typically wear. But, I am a woman with a LOT of curves so while it did "fit," it certainly wasn't cut for a curvy body. I kinda knew that going into it though so I'll let my son wear it. He really enjoys it, and it fits him very well.So, if you usually wear a men's 2X, this should fit you quite nicely.

This is a most excellent mid-weight jacket. Yes, I know, they say it's a "costume" but some of us like to dress with a bit of style. Doesn't change the fact that this is a nice jacket, perfect for early Fall days.Beautiful Velveteen finish, solid metal zipper, and a spacious hood!The only drawback is the packaging. It was crumpled tightly and sealed in a bag for shipping, so it comes out very very wrinkled. Since I don't have a steamer at home, I'll have to take it to a dry cleaner to have it steamed to get all the wrinkles out.Aside from that, 4 out of 5 stars. Excellent quality, if you can deal with the wrinkles!

Basically, it does look nice and with some styling, we made it work. But I was disappointed in how the velvety parts felt. It was more scrubby than smooth. The not-actually-leather parts are cheap-looking and don't hold together well. We actually punctured one of the "belts" trying to fasten it. If you're good with editing, this can still look really great in pictures. But I wouldn't recommend it on a warm day.

This thing is awesome! I was surprised by the quality and fit. Looks great and it's comfortable. I haven't washed it yet so idk how it holds up in a machine.

I got this in an attempt to wear something to a renaissance faire, but am ultimately going to pass on wearing it for a few reasons.Pros: - It does look like a wizard outfit - The hood is a great length - It fits fairly wellCons: - Cheap materials: the velvet feels scratchy and plasticy. I have another velvet outfit that feels much nicer. - The fake leather parts are incredibly flimsy and aren't held into place securely, so they look awkward.Another that could be a pro or a con depending on where you wear it: it retains heat fairly well. I was going to wear it on an 85°F day, but I will have to pass since it would just trap all my heat and sweat.
