It's a great design and very functional
This so incredible and well worth the price. Everyone should have one for emergencys. The lights are bright and can be dimmed which comes in handy. I bought this in the middle of November and have only charged it once. I use it everyday to walk out to my hot tub which is a little distance from my house. It's the middle of January and still operating on the first charge. I haven't tried it yet to charge my phone or ipad but the fact that it can do this is another reason to have this as we were without electricity once for 10 days. It also comes with a solar panel to charge it in case there is no electricity. It's a great design and very functional. I highly recommend it.

I was really Suprise that this LED Lantern is really Bright
I love this Portable Lantern and it is really bright considering how small it is. I bought this Lantern to use just in case the lights goes off in an emergency scenario. I love how it's portable, can charge using the sun, and you can use it to charge your phone as well which is pretty cool. Highly recommend giving this product a try.

Truth
Moved to the jungles of hawaii with only a tent, a blow up mattress and this light. It's been about a year now and the light is still going strong.. the tent and air mattress, not so much. The light was cheaper when I bought it, about 20 bucks cheaper.. it was a great buy for that price and I feel like it would still be a great buy at the current price. Mostly because its a solid build, its bright, and the solar panel has a 10 (or so) foot cord so you can place it where you need it.The things you probably need to know and arent being told:1) the charger port for this is really janky. It's not a tight USB fit like your computer has. there is A LOT of play, which sometimes means the USB cord doesn't sit the way it needs to, to provide a charge.2) Don't even think of charging your phone if its night time. The instructions even say to charge when there is a constant power source, as to not wear out the internal battery. In my experience, the battery restricts the outflow of power so much that it doesn't consistently charge your phone. my phone would keep charging and then not charging every couple of seconds.3) The capacity of the battery VS. the amount of sunlight it takes to fully charge it is WAYYYYYYYY more than the usual 14 or so hours of light you might get. Every once in a while I plug it into an outlet to fully charge the battery.4) full brightness only lasts about 15 minutes. The lantern auto dims as the power starts to drain, which is really nice... and the light CAN last 10 hours.. maybe, but it will be really dim light. I honesty give this thing about 4 hours of usable light, IF you DO NOT use it on full brightness, which is pretty great considering all the other solar lanterns i've seen don't even compare.Basically my review is that this lantern is the kitties titties... but lets be realistic... it's not going to be your life saving phone charger AND beloved source of eternal light. However I'm open to biblical-proportion stories of how this lantern lasted 8 days and 8 nights on one days sunlight charge. A miracle for the modern era, if you will.

Live in Florida? Buy it.
Bought these knowing the power would go out with a Hurricane coming out direction. Hands down the best purchase this Floridian could have ever made! It is now our go to item when the power goes out. Holds a very long charge and is bright enough to light up a room. We have 2 and could not be more pleased.

Doesn't work after initial charge
We bought this light for emergency use so charged it up and set it aside. When we attempted to use it it no longer worked. When we try to charge it it no longer takes a charge. This is our second light as it was replaced the first time for the same issue. Unfortunate as it's a nice bright light when it works......

Easy to use, larger than it looks
These I expected to be small & confusing but they’re definitely not. For some reason when I called with a question on using, I received an email saying sorry I’m unhappy?? Not every call is for replacement/ refunds. These and the solar generator I had simple questions on, perhaps Amazon can add an option for questions/useage? I feel like they think I’m trying to tip off when I’m quite happily confused

Nothing like that on the market. I wish it would have car battery adapter and see if it can crank up the car? .....
great multifunctinal item for charging and lighting your cabin. Design is ingenious. Nothing like that on the market. I wish it would have car battery adapter and see if it can crank up the car? ..... that would be epic, then ...
