The case is solid, durable, and easy to put on. I have zero issues with the case itself. I also appreciate that they have a thumbnail space on one corner to make it easier to remove.However, the integrated screen protect is terrible.- You cannot use the fingerprint scanner through the screen protector. It won't register. And, even once it is programed it won't work.- The screen protector does not lie flat against the screen, so when you try to touch the screen, especially around the edges it doesn't register your touch or registers it in the wrong place (clicking the wrong thing).- It is almost impossible to get all of the dust, etc. out from the screen. No matter how many times I try to clean the screen, dust always gets behind it.I finally gave up and cut the screen protector from the case.

I'm happy with this tight fully sealed phone case. I don't need to buy extra screen protector as the case seal the phone completely. The only problem is that you need to keep the charger Portal uncovered to get a clearer sound which is a bother. Also, I couldn't record voice notes on my WhatsApp. That problem only happened with WhatsApp and not other apps. After making sure everything is right and permissions were allowed for WhatsApp to record voice messages, I removed the case and WhatsApp recording voice messages worked just fine. I put the phone back in the case and tried to record, it didn't work. I got the bottom of the phone closer and I spoke very loud, the voice was recorded but very low. I removed the case again and everything worked fine. I'm still happy with the case, I won't return it. I just hope they will fix this issue in future production.Update: I use an app to transcribe speech into written text, unfortunately the app didn't work or record any speech when the phone was sealed in this case. I took the phone out of the case and the app worked just fine. This is annoying. I will have to return the case despite its efficiency in completely sealing the phone.

Pros:1. Soft but rigid shell most definitely protects the phone, with a built in screen protector that doesn't inhibit touch screen functionality.2. Water-Proof, apparently. I don't know because I haven't tested that tbh, but it seals rather tightly, so I'd believe it.3. Looks like you think it would. Black case make inner goth go brrr.Cons:1. Plastic shell on the back covers the cameras on the back, making all videos taken slighty fuzzy and out of focus by default.2. Hard shell covers the mic, making it hard for anyone to hear you if you happen to want to CALL someone instead of text them (heresy, I know). Also dampens any incoming audio if you're making a video, etc.If I was just looking for a case to protect a phone, this one is fine. But I happen to talk on my phone and make videos fairly often, so this one isn't for me. I'll be returning it.

I really wish I could return this case but I'm just outside the return window. I tried and tired to make this case work for me. It's a good quality case and I have dropped my phone several times and haven't had any damage. HOWEVER the only reason I will be ordering a different case is because well I like to talk on my phone like a normal person and not use speaker phone for everyone to hear or some sort of earbud/headset/bluetooth device all the time and NO ONE can hear me. Every single time some one calls me I have to put it on speaker or connect it to some sort of Bluetooth device or people will just keep saying hello because they can't hear me at all. I can hear everyone just fine but no one can hear me at all and they end up hanging up on me. It is not a phone issue because I had this brand new phone for 2 weeks without a case at all and never had this issue until I got this case. All so the sound quality while using speaker or playing things like music through my phone is not that great either. The sound is kinda muffled.Now to go find a case that is built well like this one just doesn't have these issues.

I LOVE this case. At first I hated it. No one could hear me, I couldn't hear them. The fingerprint spot didn't work, it was super quiet. SO I fixed it. Inside of the case covering the speaker and microphone are two tiny pieces of plastic. I popped them out and boom! Sound issues resolved. Now the fingerprint thing. I googled how to fix it and it was as easy and changing my phone settings to be a little bit more sensitive. Now it also works fine. I'm not worried about it being waterproof. I'd guess that the little plastic things blocking the speaker and mic protected those. But that's not an issue for me. I dropped my phone yesterday on concrete sidewalk and the case protected it. Nothing broken. I love this case, it took some work but that doesn't bother me.

So this case does EXACTLY what you'd want it to do....which is protect the phone. But this is at a cost to several key parts of the phone. The mesh they use is too thick and suppresses the microphones and speakers. The plastic used on the screen protector isn't conductive so it makes using the touch screen hard. And the plastic isn't clear enough to be used on the cameras, so my 3 camera modules are basically useless unless I just take the case off. It's a shame too because this is a lovely looking case.

While I haven't tested the "waterproofness" it seems air tight. My issue is that it muffles the sound and many of my callers cannot hear me and sometimes hang up unless I'm quick enough to change to "speaker" mode. Unfortunately, it's often inconvenient to use the speaker. I will use this case only when I'm on the boat.

What i dislike about this product I not able to use my fingerprint scanner and when I take a call, I have to place it on speaker because the person I am speaking to can not hear me!

Sound is muffled and vibrates phone when gets too loud

Since putting my phone in this case, I have dropped it quite a few times but the case protected the phone from any damage so thats a plus.Negatives: the case covers the microphone so any call I make, the recipient struggled to hear me. The fingerprint reader as well as facial recognition only work about 10% of the time. This case is supposed to be waterproof/dustproof but it seems every day there is more spots of something under the screen protector part, some so big I can feel them through the case.Works for now but will definitely look to investing in a better option

the built in screen protector is thin plastic ecoing when making a call,the thin plastic vibrates and the sound is distorted, wont buy this product again.
