This stick is medical grade as supplied to NHS, very strong and made in U.K. I have been using mine for a few weeks now and it has been very good indeed. The thing I like most is it gives me confidence; The stick is very solid in use and I really like the large rubber tip which is actually quite soft and flexes slightly as you put the stick down giving a very good grip on all surfaces. The handle is quite smooth, presumably for ease of cleaning, but comfortable enough and is actually quite handy for pressing the disabled button to open doors. Adjustment is simple via the two side buttons and I often collapse my stick when in the car to save space and stop it getting in the way of things and it only takes a second to extend it again when leaving the car. All in all a bargain at the price.

Very solid reliable stick. Helps disabled walking very much. Looks like an NHS one, so it lets people know that you have a genuine disability. Not very easy to change length, (which is a very useful facility).

Bought this for my dad and honestly? It’s the only thing that gets him moving faster than the promise of Sunday lunch. Support: Feels sturdy and reliable, like it has your dad’s back (literally). It’s lightweight, so he doesn’t feel like he’s dragging a garden stake around all day. Adjustability: Easy to set to the perfect height. No more “too short” or “too tall” jokes at the dinner table, he finally stands like a somewhat respectable adult. (Better than me anyway) Comfort: Big contoured handle isn’t pokey or awkward. Dad actually likes holding it which is a miracle, given how much he hates anything that’s not a remote control. Use: Great for walks, popping to the shops, or pretending you’re on some dignified countryside adventure (even if you’re just going for milk). Bonus: It gives him an excuse to complain about “kids these days” while actually walking a bit further, probably the best combo ever invented. If you or anyone you care for needs a bit of extra balance and likes gadgets that look almost cool, this walking stick delivers the goods, and may even get him out of his chair more often. Highly recommend.
