My old front door on my old house let in quite a bit of drafty air, in spite of weatherstripping. Not wanting to replace the door, I needed a good draft dodger for the bottom, but the cats would typically play around and dislodge anything at the bottom, plus, typical draft dodgers didn’t always fit well against any gaps. This draft dodger has two features which make it an excellent option.The first feature is its shape. Having two sides which fit into an L shape against the door and the floor means it’s sitting directly against any gaps and prevents air from actually coming in. Game changer.The other feature is the hook and loop (Velcro) tape that adheres to the draft dodger and the door. This keeps it firmly in place against the door. No rolling away by adventurous cats. When it’s time to open the door, it’s easy to remove from the door if necessary, and just as easy to put back into place.I did buy mine a bit longer than the width of the door, so it covers both ends of the door and extends onto the doorframe. This makes sure the edges of the door and any gaps there are well covered. I have noticed a difference in the lack of cool air by the door and feel it’s doing a great job. Overall, I would strongly recommend this product.

Great product and exactly what I was looking for. I looked at a lot of listings and reviews; this was one of the only draft blocker that had a removable cover. Why you ask? First for cleaning, second if I needed to add more weight I could, third if you have a metal door you can probably put magnets inside to help keep it tight to the door. The bolster has a stuffed filled tube (like a pillow) inside and it’s weighted just on the edges which is sufficient for my purpose. As I said before I can add weight if I need to because this has a zip removable/accessible cover with the zipper centrally located. Some people complain (I honesty think reviews have become ridiculous) that it’s not heavy enough… which could be true for your situation, but weight equals shipping cost and a more expensive product. If you need a heavier product add a sock/bag of kitty litter,sand, or caviar mini glass beads (craft glass beads used in weighted blankets) to achieve your desired weight. Bolster is sized slightly bigger. I have a custom basement door 31 1/2 inches wide, the entire door fame is 33 inches and I ordered the 32 inch bolster and it fits perfectly.

5 stars for the actual product! Keeps light out, heavy duty, etc. 1 star for the adhesive. I will try to close the door and it 95% of the time will rip itself, luckily I only need to use it when I'm inside the room it's attached to. Also I wish there was a place to tuck away the loop, it gets in the way a ton!

I use it where wall meets baseboard in apartment, stops cold air!

I couldn't use anything longer that this. It fits perfectly and stays tight against the door.

It looks nice and I like that it is weighted to hold in place and being that it’s like a bean bag it also molds to the cracks at the door bottom where bugs could crawl through.

This product is exactly as described. Although it’s weighted, we’re going to go to the hardware store and have chain cut to add more weight to each one (x4) as we have howling winds where we live. Confident this will do the trick! The zipper is about 1/3 of the way along the length and is VERY hidden (your Mom would be very happy about this hidden zipper sewing job lol). You do have to looks for it!!
