Book was like new condition. thank you :)

The content of the book is fine, but it’s clearly been flipped through and handled. This is not in new condition, but in used condition. Multiple dents, marker/pen mark, and creases. Very misleading. At least it was carefully packaged.

i must of been out of m mind this book is awesome. i only ave one proble to many japanses artist it said japan, kkorea and hng kong but i see way more japanses artist but other then that this is so cool i love it. my fav is joshclub birthplace seoul,Korea.

The media could not be loaded.  This is cool collection of Asian artist. My only complaint is, there aren't enough of them. But what is here is nice. Not a bad complaint huh? Still worth the price I paid at the time!Now being years later, I still get it out and look at it every now and then and that is saying something.

It's been 8 years since I've bought this art book. Even today, it remains one of my favorites. There's a very good variety of art styles, which was crucial for me when I was still developing my style/tastes for art and illustration. Each and every style (artist) is uniquely different from every other. I've probably flipped through this book at least over 500x, and each time I found something new, learned something new, and gained new inspiration. MAXX was my favorite artist for the next couple years and he was the one who led me to my love for game and movie conceptual art. Eventually, I went to Art Center College of Design. I have a decent collection of art books, but this still remains as a top favorite. I guess for some this art book doesn't offer very much, but I personally completely appreciate the wide variety of art styles it covers and how each artists goes through their process for ideas and painting.

I received it with no problems at all. If your an anime lover or just like comics in general this is the perfect book for you.

i am a spiritual person and bought this book cause i am very into Asian comics . i opened the book ,and in file no 5 I saw some satanic type illustrations. They were of devils grotesquely drawn.although i didn't mind NYORO theirs was cute though and i wouldn't classify as grotesque , think i can still use the book for technique and inspiration after ripping the offensive pages . there are quite a few images to please the eye.

Get this book in conjunction to the Japanese Comickers books.This one has less of the "step by step" information but does provide something else. It takes a trip into how each of the artist conceptualize and compose their art.Being an artist is much less about doing things in a cookie cutter fashion and depending on color by number processes. It's great for any out there who perhaps are a little lost or stuck in a creative rut.Once you have the grasps of the very basics, move onto this book and be greeted with the charming detail of the very first works provided by way of Kumiko.

muy buen libro, trae muy buenas ilustraciones que sirven de referencia así como entrevista a sus creadores , en definitiva me encanto tiene buen contenido
