It's great but was awful enrolling it.

I am extremely happy with this office chair mat! The clear design blends perfectly with my room and lets my carpet show through, which keeps everything looking clean and neat. It is thick, sturdy, and stays firmly in place on my low-pile carpet without sliding around. My chair now rolls smoothly and quietly, making it so much easier to move around my desk. It also protects my carpet from dents and wear. The quality is excellent and it feels very durable. I highly recommend this chair mat for anyone with carpeted floors!

Overall this is working well for me so far -- a week or so. I had a devil of a time unrolling it. It did NOT want to unroll. And the underside is pokey. After getting it unrolled it still wanted to roll up so I placed heavy objects on both ends (I purchased the rectangle version). Once it became mostly flat, I started using it. It is placed on fairly low pile (~1/4") cut loop carpet on a typical pad over concrete. My office chair has 5 legs with dual wheels on each leg. It works well, but if I stay too long in one spot, it will make slight dimples. Being aware of this, I move the legs (rotate them just a little) every now and then. It hasn't cracked yet (I'm 200 lbs) and I hope it lasts a long time. It is SO much nicer than rolling on carpet. My previous mat was thicker, but after 15 years I think it became brittle and began to crack.

Excellent chair mat. The weight keeps it down and strong enough to handle 200lbs. Stays flat on all corners. No smell at all and under carpet still looks great. Chairs able to wheel around but not slippery. Highly recommend.

This is not a hard, flat surface. This is a soft, malleable surface. Your chair will create divots in the surface. You'll have to push a little harder to move the chair out of those divots. Then, if you don't roll far enough, your chair will roll back into the divots.

A bit too thin for my flooring. But it’s ok.

Thid is very well priced and great size and quiality. I use it in my carpeted office to protet the carpet from being ruined by my ofiice chair when I move around. It does a great job and it doesn't hold on to the "dents" from the wheels when I sit for a long time. I have a plus size woman andI am improssed on how the dents come out quickly. I would highly recommend this product.

Great size and was able to flatten thus well with a few weighted items in each corner. The reason for the 2 stars is because it’s not a thick hard plastic like other mats I’ve had in the past. My chair leaves dents in the mat and makes it very, very hard to move my chair around smoothly as the wheels get stuck in the dents. I am very disappointed in that aspect as this is what you purchase these mats for, to make it easy for the chair to move on carpet. You can’t do that with this. I want to make note that I am not a heavy person (some might think that I am on the heavier side and this is why there are dents in the mat, note that I am 160lbs. I added a picture of the dents in the mat on day 1 of use. I would not recommend this item for that reason.

Just the right size and sturdiness for my use case with a heavy secret lab chair in a carpeted room.

This comes on a huge flat cardboard box. Very big protective sheet to protect your carpet.

Carpet Mat This Carpet Mat is delivered in a huge piece of flat cardboard. You will definitely need to be home to accept it. Don’t expect the neighbour to take this in because it takes up a lot of space, as you will see from my pics. We didn’t realise that this item would be as solid as it is, we thought it would arrive rolled/folded somehow, but to be honest, the sturdiness of this item is a plus point for what we need it for. My Husband is a DJ, so stands/sits in one spot at his decs for long lengths of time, so this sheet of polycarbonate is certainly going to save our carpet. Currently we are using rolls of plastic hallway runner which constantly moves about and looks extremely unsightly. The new sheeting has a semi smooth top allowing a chair to slide easily over it, while the underneath has little nodules to hold it in place in the carpet. It’s clear, so you can still see your carpet through it, and it’s easy to wipe clean. At £64.99 (at the time of writing this review), it’s quite pricey, but if it saves your carpet, then it’s worth it. As always, I have added a few photos to this review which I hope you find helpful.
