Murroughs Welsh Brew Tea - 40 Bags (Pack of 2)

I very much enjoy this tea. Its a bit stronger than other teas I drink when steeped for my usual 5 minutes but delicious for an afternoon pick me up.

My SO's mom got me a box of this from the local international grocery where she lived because I really like tea. Turns out, I really like THIS tea. I missed having this in the house when I ran out. This has become my favorite weekend morning tea, and I'm glad I was able to find it on Amazon because my SO's has moved to a new state. This a stout black tea with a smooth flavor. It's stronger than Earl Grey, but not quite as strong as Irish Breakfast. I like to steep this tea for 3-5 minutes and drink it with a teaspoon or two of turbinado sugar and some milk. Lovely! The tea bags come sealed in a gold foil pouch within a cardboard box. Half the box is in English, the other half of the box is in Welsh. To keep it fresh, I put the gold pouch of tea bags in a quart size Ziploc bag after I open it. The slogan on the box is "So nice to come home to." This Welsh Brew tea IS so nice to come home to. =)

I purchased this tea because the more expensive Welsh tea I usually buy had not been available for some time. This is tea is more subtle but lovely.

I’m not a Tea drinker per se, however I do enjoy trying things like this once in a while to stretch my tastebuds muscles and I learn Something new every time I try a different imported food product. I developed a taste for British Lime Marmalade when I lived in Vancouver,BC Canada and a taste for authentic Single Malt Scotch whisky while I was in the US Navy Seabees during Vietnam War also German Cuisine in the U S Army in West Germany 🇩🇪 in the early 1980’s

Read about Welsh tea in a mystery story, and the characters raved about the taste. Thought I would try it, and it's wonderful. Strong, full-bodied, and just a hint of a woodsy taste. Worth a try, if you like English breakfast tea.

The box was a bit beat up, but the inside packaging was intact. This is a strong but smooth tea, without a hint of bitterness or dust. The tea flavor is clear and unmuddled.Murrough’s Welsh Brew is wonderful with breakfast or as an afternoon tea. It has strength and character. This is now one of my favorite teas. I just wish I could buy the loose leaf tea over here.

I was upset when I saw that the package was open, but I really wanted to try this tea and see what the hype is all about. I can tell you that it is nothing special. I drink tea all the time, being Russian and all. This tea wasn't even marginally better than Lipton. I would say for the price, this is a total let down.
