We went on a trip recenly, and didn't bring rain gear because rain was not expected. There was a sudden downpour while we were walking to the train station, and we had to buy ponchos at great expense to keep our backpacks with all of our belongings dry. I bought these so that I can put them in the car, and in every travel bag, so we won't have to overpay next time it rains unexpectedly. These are really light and pack small, so we can tuck them everywhere, but the material is a LOT thicker than the other brand that I bought for the adults. Still single use thickness, but I'm less worried that these will tear when we put them on.

These ponchos are great. They are nice and thick- not that super thin plastic that rips the second you put them on. The adult size is nice and long, so it covers a decent part of your body. The kids size is good too- my tall 7 year old fit perfectly, not too big or small. The best part about these ponchos is that the hood has a drawstring, and the sleeves are full length sleeves with an elastic at the wrist- keeps all the water out and your arms dry! Wore these on water rides at an amusement park and they did the job. Will totally buy again for next time. Much better (and way less $$) than the ones you buy at the parks.

I ordered the combo pack with adult and kids disposable rain ponchos, but only received 6 kids rain ponchos. They look ok and came nicely, individually packaged but I'm unable to write an accurate review because I can't try them for myself.

These was used for a NFL game day. Stood up the the weather better than I expected! Will use again!
