Dress is very stretchy! Almost in the mindset of yoga pants material. Size down for a more custom fit, I’m normally a size 14 in jeans, large top. Amazon suggested a size 14 dress. It was way to big! I reordered and size down to a size 12, and the fit was perfect👌🏾

I absolutely love this dress. It fit nice and perfect. I’m 6 ft tall and the train was perfect. I’m buying another color for another function. This dress was a 16 I felt the 14 would be good as well.

My dress was true to size, just wish it came with instructions on how to fix the bottom of the dress.My dress size is 16..

Let me start by saying the material says satin. I was concerned about it showing imperfections. Well the material is some type of satin blend so it looked and felt great. Not thin at all! Very stretchy and pretty flattering. I'm pretty sure it would look nice on any body type. But I must say its pretty tall girl friendly. I'm 5'9" and it was still long enough. The dress has a unique train. It has a sturdy material (see pictures)that's attached to the bottom of the dress that makes the train lay better. For the most part the dress fits true to size. Typical I am a 10/12 and I ordered a 12. Amazon recommended that I get a 14. Well after reading the reviews I went with my normal size. It was still a little big so I could have sized down to a 10 but I think the length would have been a problem then. The top of the dress is for someone with fuller breast or a wider back and shoulder. It was too big and the only reason I gave it 4 stars. But you can easily remedy that by wearing the dress slightly off the shoulders (see pictures) to stretch out the material to keep it from drooping. The only other thing is the top front of the dress has a sheer see through material. I really don't like it too much because its lighter than my skin tone which makes it noticeable. You can't remove it because it actually hold the breast area together (prevents boobie spillage). But overall it was a good buy! Good material and very nice quality. I'm very happy with the dress! BTW it didn't come quick so if you need it soon you need to order as soon as possible.

Gown looks exactly like the picture. But runs a little big. Maybe size down a couple sizes for the perfect fit! Lots of stretch!

Okay ladies so I had to share. My dress is the long sleeve version of this dress and so I felt obliged to share. I’m 5’2 approximately 200lbs. I am hippy and have a big booty. This dress hugs all the right places and is very comfortable to wear. My dress is color dusty rose. I did not have the dress hemmed because I started my day with wearing platform heels but ended with flats. I just pulled the dress up to walk in my flats and had no issue tripping. I will say that the top might run a bit big. I had to have the shoulders altered to fit me. I wear a D cup and still had room in the cleavage part. This dress is perfect for any beautiful plus size gal. Wear it proudly. Btw, I purchased my dress elsewhere but it’s essentially the same dress.

A full year before my wedding my mother and aunt convinced me to go try on gowns and buy one I loved. I spent almost $1500 on a dress with a ton of beading and detail; and then promptly got extremely ill and landed in a wheelchair with a feeding tube for 3 months. By the time the dress arrived my body mass had changed so much (much thicker arms and shoulders from pushing my chair, with very reduced hips and now much less fit waist) that the dress had no hope to fit. Because I had enough other serious things to do I let figuring out my dress slide... until 10 weeks before the wedding when my bridesmaids and I spent a weekend talking about how I needed a dress. At that point I decided noting could be worse than my first dress disaster an ordered online after seeing the reviews with real plus size bodies in this dress.We had a January blizzard on the day of our wedding and the dress was perfect for it. Having noticed that the dress is not flattering on the hanger but looks perfect over a round belly I actually opted to use a dress doll instead of hanging for photos. I also purchased a long Hooded Lace Cloak instead of a veil and the two looked perfect for our wedding day. If you're nervous about your stomach, have an apple shape and hate getting told to wear empire waist dresses, or are pregnant and need a dress that flatters without trying to hide everything... this dress is perfect!Photos from our actual wedding included for proof.

I originally bought champagne gold size 20, beautiful but a bit dark and big. Then i bought a size 18 ivory gown for my wedding. I could have gotten away with a size 16 (i usually wear an 18 dress). All I can say is wow. This is NOT cheaply made. Lots of stretch to it and the ruching is very flattering for all body types. Ivory still looks white but not as bright a white. I will post pictures after my wedding. Buy this dress!
