Several five star reviews say the gadget is great. Then, some one-star reviews say the opposite. So, which is it? Five stars or one star? Let me answer that question by saying horrible does not even begin to explain how horrible the video quality is on the gadget. I am sure the battery life is also not that good. But, then again folks..... look at the price !!!Cannot Beat that price. This is not a camera for your selfies. The camera lens focal point is to show items that are close by. So, while it is definitely horrible quality for a selfie shoot, it is exactly the right quality if your intended use is similar to that of mine: I bought this to check inside my walls as I am recabling the whole house with Cat-5 to provide ethernet fast connection in every room. I can drill a small hole and see what is going on to better draft a blue print of my new cabling project.

When i received this item I fully charged the wifi power stick and have no problem connecting to the endoscope wifi but had an issue with the camera not showing an image on my phone. Yelin was very prompt and professional about resolving my issue and has issued me a replaced. I wish more companies addressed their customer concerns as quickly as this company. A positive experience for me.

Here's the deal... Initially I thought I was going to have to return the endoscope because I "thought" I was not connecting via WiFi. Each time I tried to connect, the message on my phone said I may not have an internet connection, and in fact, I had an "!" icon next to my Wi-Fi signal strength icon leading me to believe that I wasn't connected. Despite all this I opened the app that I downloaded per the instructions, and I suddenly realized that the endoscope was connected and already operating! So...remember, you may be connected despite what your smart phone might be indicating. I ran it through the paces and it worked perfectly. I even looked down my kitchen garbage disposal and drain...yuck. The LED lights are quite bright and the camera clarity is acceptable for what it is designed to do especially at this price point. It also comes with 4 screw-on attachments: mirror, magnet, hook, and waterproof collar...all worked as designed. I was sceptical...not anymore. There you have it.

A long time ago I bought a Borescope, small light, 2-3ft fiberoptic, use one eye, and it was not clear. This product is clear and bright. Using the phone as the video screen I don't have to buy a expensive scope that would be $$ more. take pics or video using button on remote or your phone. Very easy set up, get app downloaded then disconnect wifi and connect it to the scope. Great end pieces of magnet/hook/90 degree mirror.

What a POS !! Don’t waste your money on this item. If you’re trying to decide to purchase this endoscope over another one then by ALL means buy the other one. PLEASEToo many things that are negative about this one endoscope for me to waste anymore of my time on. Purchase it and REGRET IT or walk away from it and be HAPPY.Your choice. Your money!

We have used this at least 20 times since I bought it for Christmas. Who knew there was so many things I needed to find in tight spaces! Used it in 15 feet of water to see the lake bottom, in the boat engine to find a dropped bolt, and more. It is completely waterproof and easy to maneuver because of the rigid wire.

This endoscope was very easy to connect to with my iPhone and works well in dark areas! I use it while fishing wires down walls. I. Able to cut a hole just big enough to slide this in and locate and hook my wire!

Not easy to connect using WiFi. It takes to long to connect. the picture quality is so poor it’s just not worth it. I’m going to try another brand.
