AlessiBarkroll BM04 - Design Kitchen Roll Holder in 18/10 Stainless Steel, Mirror Polished, Silver, 15.50 x 15.50 x 24.00 cm

I was pleasantly surprised with this as I had my doubts that it would be any good but on taking it out of the box it felt really well made in my hands and holds all sized kitchen roll really discreetly in the corner of the kitchen and you can even turn it around so you can't even tell there is kitchen roll inside. Granted it doesn't have an mechanism which automatically breaks the roll as some of the other brands do but the weight of it means you can pull at the roll without it lifting the whole thing up. I would suggest putting some non-slip feet on the bottom though to keep it anchored to smooth surfaces. But what it lacks in clever design it makes up in beauty and all is forgiven - its a keeper!

Gorgeous product. On completion of our new sleek minimalist kitchen we had decided that we didn’t want the kitchen roll on the counter top. But after 1 week we found that impractical so we looked for something both beautiful and practical. This fitted the bill perfectly. Delighted with it.

I have collected a lot of Alessi products over the years and I am sorry Alessi but this is the worst. The design is not very practical and is quite bulky, it is also made from quite thin metal which does not justify the cost. The roll can twist in the holder and you then have to turn it around to the opening in order too tear. Aesthetically it is beautiful just not fit for purpose.

Stylish, exactly what I was looking for. Due to the design the kitchen roll can be used outside and doesn’t unravel in the wind.

It is a beautiful holder, but unfortunately for much smaller rolls. The american/canadian rolls are much higher, so this holder doesn't cover the roll. It covers about 2/3 of the roll only. Very unfortunate, because otherwise it is beautiful. Had to return it.

This dispenser looks great in my sister's newly renovated kitchen. It adds a nice touch without being overbearing
