Anzio Stainless Steel Flip-Up Roller Fairlead License Plate Mount Hawse Fairlead Holder

Perfect fit on Smittybilt fairlead and Factor 55 flatlink
This is a great alternative for a front license plate if you are running a Smittybilt X20 winch which has a hump on the top of the fairlead. The bracket has an open top that fits over the fairlead and attaches through the standard holes behind the fairlead. I actually got to test this at Moab two days later and am happy to report that it protected my expensive Factor55 flatlink when I pinched the front end on a rock on the approach. My license plate took a beating and this bracket held tight. For the money this was a great investment.

Good product. Works. Looks good. Little expensive
<Edit> a year plus on and the item still holds up but there is one serious issue. The vendor says its stainless steel but that is clearly not true about the hinge hardware. Mine are all rusted and look horrible. Clearly the stainless steel claim does not pertain tot he hardware of the hinge. What a shame... I dropped a couple of stars for that as stainless hardware would have prevented that stainless bolts are cheap enough to not impact the price point. Shortsighted decision on the manufacturers part. I'll be removing mine shortly>Does the job. Give JUST enough space between the hawse fairlead and the exposed hook or line to allow the plate to swing down and not look like it's being pushed out. 1 star removed because the hardware for the flip was very loose and had to be adjusted and the price is a bit high for what the product really is.Edit... 1 year later... the hardware for the flip is visibly rusted and will likely not last very long. For the price, the manufacturer should have used stainless steel hardware.

Well done, except...
The part that the license plate attaches to pivots up and out of the way to allow the winch line to be used. Great idea, and it's well built. The "however" is that as you pivot the license plate part up, it impinges on the bumper to the point that it rubs more than is acceptable unless you grind a bit. We took a dremel and rounded the part that touched so it wouldn't hit the bumper and damage the powder coated bumper. Not a big deal, and hit the rounded off corners with some nail polish. I would buy it again. Great price.

I've Been Framed!
It is what I needed so that a License Plate could be attached to the front bumper as required by Texas regs. I had to enlist help as it was a bit difficult to mount. Also when the Plate is attached the frame has a tendency to hang down at a slight angle with the frame in towards the vehicle.

You'll want to replace the cheap hardware
The powder coating is good but the holes are too big for the hardware, which is the cheapest of the cheap junk anyway. I just replaced it all before the installation. I believe I used 1/4" bolts which fit without drilling. I think its a good value for money. It will not work with a roller fairlead, hawse only!

works
works fine. fit with jeep bumper and Harbor Freight apex winchnote you may need longer bolts than provided by HFhad to tighten screws to keep it in place/keep from flying up

Good bracket for law abiding drivers
The media could not be loaded. Bracket is nice and sturdy. Wish it was spring loaded in some way to keep plate positively up when winch is in use....but havent had it flip down yet so its probably nothing to big to worry about. Hardware is nice.
