Makes a great brew
I’m pretty stoked! It’s been decades to never that I’ve had an electric percolator. I’m glad to be reminded of how delicious perc is versus drip.It seems a lot easier to clean this than rely on periodically flushing out a drip with cleaners. You directly clean the pot by hand and it provides a lot more control over washing away chemical residue and build up. (At least for me)Looks? It’s a really cool color. I love orange. And it looks great in a stainless steel texture.Taste? Really nice, rich brew for me. No bitterness or “chalky” if you use a stronger bean.I’m happy. We will see how it holds up in quality over time.

Takes Longer To Perk, Which Is Good
Been drinking percolated coffee for 30+ years and my go to percolators were always the Faberware brand. These units use to be made in the USA, but like all good products, now made CHINA. Cheap components inside now and I got tired of replacing thermostats with another CHINA made thermostat that would fail in short order. Had 4, 8 and 12 cup Faberware percolators, still have my 12 cup as it is only used when company arrives, but recently threw them out due to becoming inoperative or drinking luke warm coffee that was weak.Decided to purchase from another company, even though still made in CHINA, so we went with the Euro Cuisine 4 cup percolator this time around. As I'm writing this, I am drinking my first cup of coffee from this unit and a couple of things I noticed right away was...1. Takes 7 minutes and 30 seconds to brew 4 cups. The old Faberware brand 4 cup version took a mere 4 minutes or 5 if I loaded it with ice and water.2. Longer brew time = much richer coffee taste and darker in color. It's a very good tasting coffee over the Faberware produced percolated coffee IMHO. So, I like it so far and was impressed with its very first cup of coffee it brewed.I'll update this review as the years go by. I'm old school and want items I purchase to last almost a lifetime.

Was great for one month and 2 days. Now useless.
I bought a more well know percolator and it leaked out of the bottom within a week as many others noted in it's reviews. This one does not leak, and comes in nice color choices too. I use flat disk filters to screen out the bad oils and the coffee is great. The cord is much easier to attach to the pot as well. It cleans nicely and keeps the coffee hot. With multiple sizes and finish options, this is a winner.UPDATE: Rats! After one month the pot is tripping the GFI breaker so now it is useless. Of course this is like 32 days after I got it. I will see if it is on the holiday extended return window.

I love it.
Very nice. I don't know how long it will last. LolTastes so much better than drip and easier than French press or 360. I put brown paper liners inside it (wet it) and either no ground residue or very little. Would be worth it for the taste tho. I have tried both coarse grounds and pre-ground from the coffeehouse and both come out fine. The coarse is the best of course. Once a week I throw it in the dishwasher and it comes out fine. I bought an extension cord in order to keep it on an end table but be sure to buy one which adapts to 3 prongs. So elegant. I love it! Transformed my life.

All looks - poor performance.
Have been working with this percolator since it arrived. It's very nice looking! Seems larger than 8 cups and on the heavy side. The entire pot, including the glass top, stays very hot. It starts out making weird sounds, before it starts heating - takes 9 - 10 minutes to perk. Coffee grounds come through into the coffee: I've tried no filter, percolator flat filter and regular filter - nothing helps. Naturally I have used coarse ground coffee beans and I've tried other grinds as well. That was #101. Another annoying problem, coffee remains behind, regardless of how long you pour. I wanted this to work, but it's not satisfactory at all. Gave up on it as of this morning, I want a decent cup of coffee to start my day. This didn't deliver. No more percolators for me!

I forgot what a great cup of coffee was.
When yet another K cup style drip coffee maker gave up the ghost, I decided it was time to go back to the basics. I searched around for a quality percolator and by jingo I found one. This is made of a good grade aluminum. The basket is dishwasher safe, and the percolator itself simply wipes clean. While it may take a bit longer to make 12 cups of coffee, the wait is definitely worth it. Watching the coffee percolate into the glass knob on the tight fitting lid is a sheer delight. I am happy with the size, speed, and design of this beautiful percolator.
