I've used these a lot - they are so much easier to use than ordinary shears, nimble and quick, and just perfect for trimming back many many things like lavender, geraniums, all those dead things that you need to clear out after winter. They are super-sharp. I look after them well, oiling the blades after use so they don't go rusty, and I keep them indoors rather than in the shed.

Really good for hedging and floppy perennials once they have goon over a bit. Can prune quite well on thinner stuff but probably not as good as secateurs for bigger roses and woody plants.

Really easy to use and so sharp it cuts through my geraniums with ease. Only reason not 5 star is the cost and the fact that I have to oil it after every use.

True quality just remember to treat with little oil if used in damp conditions,but quality is testament to traditional British build and design,may even outlast me.

excellent, very sharp shears - great for cutting back herbaceous plants

A week old and going rusty. Cheaply made with a hammered rivet securing the blades which is now coming loose. Not the quality I was expecting for the price paid.I regret this purchase.
