Compact Lightweight Visor Light
I am a volunteer firefighter in a rural volunteer fire department in a state that allows volunteer firefighters to use blue lights. Check your state laws to see what is legal in your state. This is a unit with some advantages and disadvantages. On the positive side, it is compact, lightweight, easy to install and easy to operate. The units are 14 inches wide, so they fit smaller vehicles that a full size visor light may not fit it. There is an on-off switch and pattern selector switch on the lighter plug making it easy to operate. There are a variety of flash patterns to choose from. It remembers the last flash pattern used. The power cord is 12 feet long, there is a 4 1/2 foot cord between the two light-heads. The 4 suction cups on each light-head hold it securely to the windshield, you can adjust the angle of the light unit. It has a built in flash-hood to minimize back glare. On the negative side the unit is not bright in daylight. Compared side by side to a Class 1 SAE rated unit, this light is much dimmer. If you are specifically looking at it in daylight you can barely see it. The majority of traffic does not see it in daylight. At night, and dusk to dawn, it does a credible job.

very bright
i was very surprised when i got these lights. the easment of putting them on my windshield was very impressive. the design is so great that it doesnt effect my driving when im respong to a call. i didnt think it would be so great for the public to see without blinding me in my vehicle while driving. they have several settings and it is so easy to filter through all of them to find the ones that you like the most.

A little flimsy, but works well.
The metal bracket is VERY easily bendable. The housing of the lights are black plastic which is concerning with summer sun. The directions are almost worthless. BUT, the light works very well, bright, nice. Just hope it lasts in summer sun.

Nice lights
I like these lights a lot! They're bright, there is a wide variety of flash patterns available, and mounting seems secure. The price is reasona le for what you get. Recommended.

Very bright light bars, but mounting could be improved
These small light bars are great as far as brightness and variety of flash patterns is concerned. However, the mounting brackets could definitely be improved. The sheet metal for the mounts is exceptionally thin and flimsy. Mine arrived bent just from the shipping. It was easy to bend them back with very minimal force. I even had a hard time not bending them again while installing the suction cups, and ultimately had to reshape both brackets. Additionally, the short mounting arm on the bracket and short plastic cowl on the light itself kept me from getting the lights close to my glass on my vehicle. This means that at night, you have a fair amount of light bouncing back inside the vehicle that can be distracting and make it harder to see out. To remedy this, either the mounting arm that secures to the light bar or the plastic cowl on the light bar need to be longer; ideally both would be.All in all, these are ok for the price, but could easily be much better.
