I think this is a quality product. The product and the company have high ratings on my supplements app. Yes, it dissolves in water and doesn't clump, but after whipping with my frother the powder tends to settle back down to the bottom fairly quickly. It is tasteless with maybe a slight aftertaste on the back of the tongue. I will probably switch to adding this to yogurt or cereal or see if it works in my matcha. update, I think it added a very slight texture to my matcha, probably not noticeable to most people, I'm sensitive. I see this advertises for workout recovery, but I purchased for the gut health support. Hope it helps me!

I've been taking L-Glutamine for a few weeks now after reading research done in relation to ADHD and ADD, in which individuals with ADHD had low Glutamine levels. Once supplemented, it helps a lot of said issues. Please do your own research regarding this, but for me- it's been an incredible supplement I will continue to buy. With that said, regarding the nature of Sports Research's L-Glutamine, I have found the powder to have a premium consistancy to it in comparison to others, which does not surprise me as I also take their D3+K2 Supplement (though it's a way better deal at Costco, and if you are reading this SR, please give us a better deal here on that via amazon!) and SR's fish oil, and those supplements have been top tier in regards to not only my own experience but from what I have read as well. This quality powder packs a punch in potency, and although I wouldn't recommend drinking it plain, it does mix well with straight water or any liquid. I mix it in with whatever I can, but know that if you do drink it with plain water, the taste is not good, and a little sour, but the effects are worth it. One last note, why take the powder vs pills? From the research I have gathered it is normal to take L-glutamine in higher dosages such as a full scoop (scoop included here!) and serving size indicate on the bottle. Pills on the other hand... not only is it a lot of capsules, it would be on the more expensive side. Grab this, potent, and mixes easily!

Im a CrossFitter and Sport Massage Therapist. I take this to help my muscle recovery since Im using my body on a daily basis. Much needed for an active lifestyle. I do feel some difference in my body. Its gonna be a subtle feel versus something you will feel right away. There is no taste and no smell and the texture is smooth silky powder. Its easy to use. Just one scoop I take first thing in the morning. This brand is always a great brand so value for the money is pretty good as the quality is good.

It’s definitely a lot for the amount you pay. I bought this mainly for gut support so I think it’s a little too early to tell if the advertised health benefits are working after a couple tries, but the powder dilutes well in any liquid. Taste is okay and looking at the ingredients, it’s a single-ingredient product so that’s reassuring. I’ve used other Sports Research vitamins before and quality is always top notch so I’m confident this will deliver as well.
