I replaced my house cleaner
I am so happy with this purchase! For the price I typically pay to have my home cleaned I can pay this in two months. I typically pay 120-130 biweekly for a cleaner to come in because of the 3k sq feet we have in our house and for me alone that is a lot of flooring to cover. I figured I would rather pay for this item to do it for me and stop paying housecleaners. There is a downside of the mopping that you can not use cleaner directly but with dogs just the cloth wiping down helps cut down on dirt a ton. The vacuum does a great job of picking up and we could tell the difference fast. I like that there is multiple levels of suctions, also for mopping you can choose the amount of water to use. The app is easy to use as well. I was super impressed by the app and it gives you real time status of what parts of floor is cleaned. I love the easy spot or zone cleaning directive on app as well. The noise level is a little loud compared to the shark robot vacuum I previously had but as long as it leaves my floors clean, I don't mind. The battery does take a bit to charge and then according to what suction you use the battery is used a little faster. Overnight it charges fine but if I use the turbo suction I notice battery dies faster.

Excellent value and performance.
Pros: Mapping and Navigation, Effective Vacuuming, Great App, Overall excellent value.Cons:- Mopping isn't very effective, and leaves streaks on the floor. I don't even use it. If you want good mopping, upgrade to one of their spinning mop models.- No battery management options in settings, to limit maximum charge and extend battery service life.

Saved me from giving up my German Shepard. Works great!
I don't write reviews, but this vacuum works great. It maps out the house and is easy to program. I have a German Shepard and this picks up all her hair. It fills up the canister every day. It's amazing and has made it so my wife likes the dog again. We have wood and carpet flooring. It transitions between both with no problem.

Solid choice
I bought no less than 6 robot vacuums to test this out. This is the one I ultimately decided to keep.I tested vacuums across all the price ranges and with all types of functions. I watched all of the vacuum wars videos and read the reviews intently. In the end, the Roborock S7 was the vacuum I selected. The annoying thing about the Roborock lineup is how sneaky the naming of their vacuums are. There is S7Max S7+, Max+ etc. Q7, Q8 with max and plus and variations that make it difficult to really view their vacuum offerings side by side to decide which one is right for you. But this Roborock Q8 was a very good vacuum.Pros:-Can use with just water (no requirement to pay for overpriced cleaning chemicals)-Mop feature is great and lift features works on all of my carpets-Navigation and mapping is the best I've tested-Varying suction powers and mopping intensities have allowed me to get the results I want-Roborock's app is the best I've used. I loved being able to put down where my furniture is and area rugs-Auto-emptying feature is something that can be turned off-Reliable and consistent, very rarely gets jammed or stuck-Easy to clean and maintainCons:-Does not recognize my puzzle piece foam floor mats as mats. It treats them like carpet. Which is annoying because I would really like for them to get mopped daily-Despite having strong suction, it is not great on low pile rug with dog hair, I still have to go over our car track-themed low pile rug with a comb to pull the dog hair out of it 2x a week. The roborock seems to rub it further into the rug rather than suck it out.-I have it set not to bump into things but it doesn't get corners and certain areas as well as I'd like, I could probably reduce it's collision settings to get a better job but I find that vacuuming those corners and areas 2x a week when I already have to vacuum the stairs is okay for me. This is an area that much cheaper vacuums outperformed the Roborock in.-Water tank being built into the machine is fine for day to day but we preferred a tank that could last for multiple days if ever we went out of town.Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase. I can legitimately say that having a robot vacuum has changed my life for the better. My house is so much cleaner, not only because its vacuumed and mopped daily but dust is way down. I can set the vacuum to go and do a quick clean before company comes over while I handle setting up appetizers or quickly wiping down the bathroom and surfaces etc. It really feels like we have a professional cleaning service coming in every day. I love it so so much. Any robot vacuum would make this incredible of difference, but I ultimately chose a different Roborock because of it's more advanced mopping features and the reliability and ease of maintenance.

If you’re on the fence, just buy it! So awesome!
I had a roomba 10 years ago and it was aweful. I knew the technology has advanced a lot since then so I decided to try the Roborock. I am so glad I did!! This thing is amazing! I no longer have to vacuum or mop! If you can afford to get a more expensive version I would definitely go for it. I personally am on a tight budget so I got this one and it has been great! If ever I get a chance I would buy the one that empties itself. My dog has a lot of hair so I need to empty it after every use. The battery life is great, it gets up all my dogs hair, and the app is easy to use.
