Like everything else, things have gotten expensive. Work gloves can certainly be on that list. I went to grab my regulars at Menards and they had taken a bit of a jump. I always use gloves that have the grip type palm because I primarily do wood working and that type of glove keeps great control of the work piece as it passed through the power tool but also offers some protection to my hands. Years back I was doing some detail work with a palm router and I was concentrating on where I was cutting so much that when I turned the corner on the piece my little finger got too close to the router bit. It ripped up the glove pretty good but I got the router stopped before it got to flesh. From then on I have always worn grip palm gloves. These have great gripping power. The price is amazing. At least half of what I would typically pay. The size... right at the wrist... might run a little small, but once on they fit about as expected. After they have been in use for a few months I will update my review to cover durability,.

I can't vouch for the durability because I just bought them, but I used them to paint and while I was doing yardwork and they fit my hand snuggly so I could actually grip things. I would recommend these gloves.

The stitching broke loose the first day I put them on. I tried to use them, but my fingers nearly broke through the fingers of the gloves.

So the gloves themselves are very well made with padding and protection in all the right places.I have large hands so ordered the XL. These are definitely a size smaller than stated so remember to go one bigger if ordering.They did fit ok for what I was using them for but that was me putting up with them more than them fitting ok. They protected me from cuts and abrasions on my hands whilst removing an old tree and bush from the back garden.Also managed to move a few concrete slabs with them as well and they gave good grip and cut resistance.Durability can only be determined after a longer use and will also be dependant on what tasks you intend to use them for.Overall for the price a nice glove that if the right size is selected will serve you well.

I’ll start by giving these gloves 5 Stars for appearance and design.I may need to adjust this first impression as I stay to wear them regularly off the synthetic leather doesn’t live up to expectations?I’ve only used in dry conditions so far.The size of the gloves- I have what I would consider regular hands and fingers. I’m reviewing the large size.A snug fit and may need to size up is you prefer a looser fitting?There is a small amount of stretch.I like the palm padding. I can see myself picking up rocks and slabs with these without fear of injury.The touch sensitive fingers are great for answering the phone whilst working.The reverse side has added protection for the buckles and thumb crease and the Velcro around the wrists is incredibly strong.

Used these doing some extensive work in the garden preparing for an extension and they've been great. When handling rough sawn timber no large splinters have penetrated, carrying large rocks and no scrapes and the occasional mis-judge of a hammer tap resulted in no major injury. They are comfortable and fit well thanks to the velcro strap. They feel thick and do a good job protecting your hands, I imagine these will last for a good few jobs and are therefore better than most of the cheaper alternatives.
