Perfectly serviceable replacement - keep your original foam inserts to retain sound signature!
After my 1.5 year old HD 6XX original pads started to split and flatten from daily use and having noticeable "tiredness" to the sound, they needed to be replaced. The AHG replacement pads were a breeze to install and fit perfectly, just make sure the plastic tabs are pushed in all the way. The pad material is firmer and more fibrous compared to the old originals, but are still comfortable. The foam inserts are thinner and visibly less porous, with a slightly larger circumference than stock, but still fit and feel fine. With the new pads and inserts, the sound signature sounded warmer than original, with the sound stage seeming more enclosed. I decided to experiment using the old and new pads and old and new inserts, comparing them side by side.*The change in sound signature people are likely experiencing is due to the inserts - not the pads.* The AHG inserts make low end signatures "muddier" and slightly more pronounced, which is really only discernible when doing the side by side comparison. High end is still crisp, but depending on what you're listening to, you may experience some midrange interference from the change to the low end.Any negative sound changes from the pads are honestly negligible. The new pads do sit farther from the ear than old and flattening originals. The new pads solved the sound leakage from the worn pads, effectively refreshing the headphones. Your experience may vary depending on the condition of your old equipment.TLDR:At less than half the price of genuine Sennheiser replacements, these AHG pads are well worth the money. If you're concerned with changes to the sound signature, keep your original foam inserts! If this is not an option, you'll still likely get used to the negligible sound change within a few hours. If your old pads are worn, you'll still experience a better sound. If you're the type who will be bothered by this and are willing to pay the extra premium, consider the genuine Sennheiser replacements for your own ease of mind. Regardless, annual or biennial pad replacements are a fact of reality for these headphones.I shall see how these replacements hold up. For the price and performance, the money saved justifies itself. 5 star pads, 3 star foam inserts.*Update: After over a year, these AHG pads are holding up impressively well with minimal wear from daily use. Much better longevity than the Sennheiser pads.

Amazing
For some context, this is a day one review. And mat change over time.Things I've noticed:- the sheepskin feels amazing for those who love leather furniture and seating- the space for your ear seems to be bigger as I do not feel the pads touching my ears anywhere, meaning minimal adjustment when putting them on- the snap in piece to attach them to the headphones (HD650/HD6XX) was a perfect fit with minimal effortSo far I am loving how these feel and may like them more than OEM.No update = no change in my assessment of this product

Almost perfect except for one thing
I bought these because, as any other new HD660S owner might know, the stock Sennheiser earpads while made of soft material feel like they have a very rigid inner ring in the foam that sits around your ear, which can get a bit uncomfortable. I tried both Dekoni's and Accessory House's pads. The Dekonis got returned immediately, they messed with the sound signature WAY too much.Accessory House absolutely nails comfort. These pads are significantly more comfortable than the stock Sennheiser pads. As other reviewers have unfortunately noted though they do mess with the sound signature to a noticeable degree. Not nearly as much as the Dekonis, but enough to darken the HD660S to a decent degree such that if you love the HD660S sound stock, you'll be losing a little in that category in exchange for much better comfort. Worth the tradeoff? That's up to you. I did notice the effect is lessened a bit by using the original Sennheiser inserts alongside the Accessory House pads instead of both the AH pads and inserts, however the headphones are still darkened quite a bit.For now, I think I will continue to use the HD660S with the stock earpads and hope they soften up a little with break-in. But I'm keeping the AH earpads because if the originals don't soften up with wear, I already know I'm going to vastly prefer wearing the AH pads for long listening sessions (I frequently wear my headphones for hours while at my workstation during the day listening to music and various other things while I work), darker signature or not.Final verdict: These are a minimal expense compared to the HD660S and they are of quality manufacture. If you don't love the stock earpads I would get these and keep a pair around just to have an alternative.

Perfect
I tried 4 different earpads from Amazon. These were the only ones that actually snap into place, almost like the original ones from Massdrop. Installed on HD 58X, they were the perfect replacement for worn earpads. I was about to give up, but these were the PERFECT solution. As some others have mentioned, keep your inner foam if you want to maintain your original sound, but I don't consider myself an audiophile so the replacement foam was fine for me.If you like the "SNAP" of the earpads when installing, these will give that to you.

Heavy, hot and uncomfortable
This is a heavy pad, and the material is blocking all the air flow, so you will get hot quickly. Also, it’s a relatively hard material, very uncomfortable in general.

Look good feel good on HD6XX
Installation was a little sketchy with no positive "click" but they're in there solid. Sound is about the same, maybe a little closer but I don't sense any loss in soundstage. They feel nice and look good. Wish I changed them out sooner - my skin seems to appreciate them much more than the velour pads.Paid $30, easy recommendation at that price.

Great Earpad Replacements
I don't usually write reviews, but had to for this one. The earpads are so much more comfortable than the originals (I prefer leather). I feel that it did change the sound signature a bit - it sounds more close and exciting compared to the original earpad. However, I like that, so it's better than the originals in every way for me.
