ACE Bandages
There is a reason ACE is a genericized trademark for these types of "bandages". They truly are the best elastic bandages on the market. My one complaint would be that they don't make super long bandages which would help when icing your torso (lower-back). But they are so strong that it makes up for the lack of length. I need to use 2 ACE Bandages for my lower-back but they hold the ice in place so well you never have to worry about it slipping. I don't like the clips that come with the bandages and prefer to just tuck the bandage under itself to hold it in place. It is worth spending a little extra money to get the real thing. I highly recommend ACE Bandages!!!

ACE Elastic Wrap w/ Velcro 4" -Worth the Price? Yes
Was having problems with support stockings cutting off blood flow to toes and stocking tops cutting into calves by end of day - could never find the right strength that was comfortable at same time for entire leg and foot. My doctor suggested using elastic wraps instead - turned out they were better for several reasons: could adjust and re-adjust the tension as necessary through the day and easier to put on and take off. OK so why the ACE product vs other less expensive competing brands? most others rely on the hook/tab closure and were always being lost, falling off, crushed, or tiny metal hooks snagging other things, the ACE product use velcro instead - most other brands have a more open weave or lesser elastic to keep the cost down but won't hold up after repeated washings. The ACE bandage is made by 3M and as a better quality product hasn't deteriorated after washing. Sometimes with a coupon I can get lower price at cvs.com but shipping takes a week or more - with amazon prime i get it in 2 days

add velcro on both ends
I would rate this a 2 star if I hadn't been aware of the velcro only being on 1 end prior to purchase. But still... The ace bandage itself is nice and has the standard level of quality ace bandages have always had. HOWEVER... it is rather annoying (understatement) that ACE would choose to only put velcro on one end of the bandage. I'm curious if whoever spec'd this product has ever used it, because if they had they would know how poorly designed a bandage with velcro only at one end is. To understand why this is an issue... an ace bandage like this one is meant to be re-used over and over again... when you roll up the bandage for storage, it is immensely helpful to have a piece of velcro at the end of the wrap to prevent the bandage from unrolling (call this end 'A'). The other end of the bandage (at the center of the roll, call this end 'B') is where the 2nd piece of velcro is also needed -- when wrapping the bandage onto a body part, end 'B' is the last part of the wrap the must have a piece of velcro to hold the bandage tight on your body. Hence... a two ended bandage is useful and needed. I would not have wasted my life energy typing this review if I could have found and ordered a silly bandage with velcro on both ends. Please ACE... fix this lack of design.

Old School Best School
The old style Ace bandage without adhesion is the best way to go for your bandage needs. The two inch is best for appendages, and it is easy to put on and take off. The adhesive stuff is so strong you need a gorilla to pull it apart to use. The two inch, regular style is best. Great value, too.

Almost 5 out of 5 but nope.
The same bandages with cheaper, more fragile clips. Better buy some safety/diaper-style pins.

Good product for a good value
I can't find these anywhere in local stores. I only find the self adhering ones which don't really work well for a wrap. Finding a 3 pack of the velcro style was so nice to use on my swollen lower legs after surgery!

Sturdy!
This ACE Bandage is the best by far! To make a long story short, my dirt bike went crazy and threw me (carburetor malfunction?). I wrapped my elbow so I wouldn't move it. I was using a few bandages from the dollar store, which worked, but not nearly as well as the ACE bandage. The ACE bandage provides much more support, especially when wearing it over time (a few hours). The material also feels more sturdy. The two clips that come with it are better also. Instead of an aluminum clip that I always manage to bend, the ACE Bandage comes with a strap made out of similar material to the bandage. This allows the clips to attach much easier. I'd recommend this product to anyone!
