Works Perfectly If You Follow the Instructions
Very relieved to say this screen protector worked perfectly on my first attempt at attaching it. It's an intimidating process and I'm not sure what some of the reviewers have been doing wrong on here but this product definitely worked perfectly for me.As I'm sure everyone who's ended up on this page is aware, every screen protector on the market for the Pixel 8 fails to cover the curved edges of the screen and leaves a horrible air bubble on the edges that makes an already relatively small screen look even smaller. Happy to say this product solves this issue and attaches so neatly and tightly to the screen that you can't even tell there is a screen protector on the phone. My only tips are:1. Give the video and manual a good study, I must have spent a good 30 minutes watching and re-reading the manual before attempting the installation process. When you scan the QR code to watch the instruction video, the video is designed for the Pixel 6 (or possibly 7) which was a bit disappointing but the process seems to be exactly the same for the 6, 7 & 8.2. Make sure your surface is very level, my desk it seems is a tiny bit slanted to the right as the glue started running off to the right hand side of the phone once I poured it onto the screen - luckily I was able to tilt the phone a bit to the left and make the glue run back to the centre just in time.3. When it came to pulling out the pin to drop the screen protector onto my screen all the glue started pooling towards the bottom half of the phone screen. It took me a good few seconds to realise the screen protector hadn't dropped all the way onto the top half of the screen so I had to nudge it down onto the screen with my finger. Was a very nervous moment but once I nudged it the glue started spreading out across the screen perfectly.4. I went a bit overkill on the UV lamp drying time to ensure it was solidly connected, an extra minute or 2 on each section just to be sure. I've seen some reviewers complaining that the protector popped off once they put the phone inside their protective case, I'm using a fairly basic armoured £10 protector and I had no problems getting it into the case without damaging the protector, just be careful and gentle.

Excellent screen protector
The application takes some time but the result is fantastic. The process is foolproof. Ignore the reviews from those who clearly cannot follow basic instructions.

Funnily enough you need to use your phone for the instructions, this was for my new phone so I used my old phone for the instructions. Put it on exactly as it said (was quite nervous pouring liquid onto my brand new phone)! The process isn't to hard to understand. But after the whole process I put a phone case on the back and the screen protector popped off like the lid on a pringles tube. Gutted

Finally one that works!
The install was complicated, and the manufacturer's instructions weren't the best. Found an alternative YouTube tutorial (the steps are the same as for Pixel 8 pro). Watched the tutorial several times and successfully completed the install first time.To be sure that the glue cured I put it on the 60s run twice.Screen fits perfectly, surface is so smooth!

Pretty good, just a bit fiddly.
I bought this screen protector after being disappointed by other offerings for the pixel 8, hoping that a more premium product would give a better application, and last longer. This product is definitely better than others. So if, like me, you want a premium screen protector for the pixel 8, this is probably going to be the best choice. My screen protector is now on my phone, with not a bubble in sight, which is genuinely fantastic!Unfortunately, I ended up wasting the first piece of glass that I tried to apply. I followed the steps carefully, but when I dropped the glass in, I noticed a big bubble had appeared in the adhesive. Great. I attempted to take the glass off and reapply, but by this time, the glue was already starting to cure, rendering the glass useless.(In hindsight, this is entirely my fault. The glue cures with UV light, so best not to do it near a window).I wiped the phone down and tried again, this time ensuring the phone was spotless and there was no light coming from the window. This time, it worked perfectly. Some tiny bubbles that I was able to push out. No issue. I allowed the glue to cure with the UV light, and the result was impressive. It feels solid, and doesn't have any bubbles or lifting. An extra tip, once the adhesive has spread and you've removed any bubbles, ensure the protector is exactly in the middle of the phone before curing. Mine is slightly off to the side (not an issue, just not perfect), so it's worth mentioning.Overall, this is a good screen protector. Of course, time will be the ultimate judge, but right now it looks great and feels solid. The application process is more complicated than your average protector, but if you have time, patience and follow the instructions to the letter, the result is impressive.

Must for Pixel 8
Felt quite daunting with all the items in the box, but once you look at the installation video and instructions it went well. I would recommend a second pair of hands just in case, but fits well and no issues with finger print reader on Pixel 8.

Works exactly as intended but needs absolute focus.
I considered docking a point due to the complexity of the procedure but that would be unfair as it does exactly what it promises, it is just a delicate operation. The product works as intended but do not rely solely on the included 'instruction' sheet because it is not good enough. A quick search on a search engine will get 'you' a 'tube' video that will have a person narrate the process as they do it and a visual aid makes it much easier to understand.Keep an eagle-eye on the liquid once it's released onto the phone because it is easy to get distracted prepping the screen and you really really do want the liquid to be in the middle once you drop the screen down.
