I decided to try with casein as well as protein of late, and this is a lovely lovely powder. Good taste, lovely smell, good mixing capability. Is a bit sweet, I would have loved to have it in neutral flavour as well, for the time when I am mixing it with something already sweet (like banana and soy milk smoothie, which you have to try btw :) ), or if I want to add a different sweetener, like agave syrup. But it does the job, perfectly, and other than the fact that I KNOW I like things less sweet than others, lol, I have no complaints whatsoever.

It tastes ok, however the powder does not mix great. You will be left with alot of powder in the back of your throatEffects, i havent noticed any. But thats not to say it doesnt work.As a worst case scenario its a good replacement for night time snacking.Tastes better with milk instead of water

I bought this at the same at the Whey Protein 360. Both Vanilla flavour. I quite like the Vanilla of the whey Protein 360 but this Casein Protein taste horrid. The flavour is not strong, it basically tastes like milk. It mixes well enough with no lumps. I know taste is subjective but it's not even consistent amongst the same manufacturer, I wont but=y again.

Powder itself is like flour, chunky and not very easy to empty out of the scoop compared to USN and ON's finer powders. That's probably why the shake can taste a bit on the powdery side but it's not hard to get used to. Resealable bag itself is also tedious to scoop out of and can get quite messy with powder being caught in the seal and then flying about as you re-seal it. It would be better if Protein Works considers using tubs like their competitors - they're recyclable too compared to these bags.Other than that the powder tastes as good as it smells.

Taste is quite nice, however points to consider. The drink tastes powdery, unlike many other protein drinks and the packaging it comes in is very narrow at the top making it very difficult to get the powder out. You are guaranteed to have a hand and sleeve covered in powder.

On arrival the bag was open and some of the product was powdered all over the box. Never-the-less I persevered and gave it a shot and I was so disappointed. This is one of the worst tasting Casein proteins I have tasted. It left a horrible coating around my mouth and teeth. The flavour was average but the texture was horrific. Maybe the other flavours are better than the banana one but that’s me put off for life!

I think the protein powder is alright, but the bag it comes in breaks quite easily. I noticed little piles of protein powder and realised the bag had been punctured being on my shelf. Hasn’t happened with other brands.

Very fine and sometimes doesn't mix too well, but I find if you blend it rather than using a protein shaker it negates that minor issue. The bag could do with a redesign; because it's like a talcum powder in texture, when you scoop it out it can go everywhere. The taste is amazing though and I can't knock it. Great product.
