Perfect- But Watch The Tutorials
Saw this on the Gadget show and thought it looked great. Over to amazon to buy it. The first try didn't go very well because of both myself being dumb and because the paper instructions that come with it are terrible. WATCH THE TUTORIALS!!!!!. If you do watch them all will become clear. AFter I watched them within around 30-40 minutes i had created 5 pieces to a perfect standard at the price point. It's easy. Great quality. Not too expensive. Love it and have ordered 10 more so I have have varied canvases on my walls of all my family and friends.Watch the tutorials!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Comparison of Photofuse and YouFrame products
I recently tried both the 'Photofuse' and the 'YouFrame' home printing canvas products. There was little between them in terms of price but they are very different in terms of application. With the Photofuse product you print onto a thin film and then transfer that film to a canvas. You then use the supplied brush to work the printed film until the texture of the canvas has worked its way through. With the YouFrame product you print directly onto the canvas and then make a frame and stick it to the canvas. Of the 2 processes the 'Photofuse' is by far the easier to complete. I think that it might have been updated since some of the previous reviews. For both pictures I printed 5mega pixel photos and used a canon MP600 printer which has about 9000dpi resolution. So the print results for both look very good. The PhotoFuse product is about an inch larger in height and length. The big difference for me though is the edges - with the Photofuse product your transfer only sits on the front - the sides of the canvas are left white. With the YouFrame product the image raps round the edges and as a consequence looks more professional.I have placed a follow up order for the YouFrame product but will be investing in a craft knife and cutting board to make the manufacture process easier.

Quick and easy?
not as straight forward as the instructions state - needs some careful handling. Once aligning frame is stuck to film, very difficult to re-align without damaging print. Finish on canvas is brilliant.

Be careful
I agree with the first review, not as easy as the instructions say.Especially if the backing strip tears when you are trying take it off and the film sticks to itself and won't come away and then the other corner sticks to the frame and you can't get that off and then sticks to the applicator handle................I may video my next attempt for youtube!

Seemed good, difficult to create a good finish
I got 3 of these and thought they were a great idea. Using a standard printer the quality is good onto the smart film paper. When putting onto the canvas it can be difficult, 1st effort looks ok, edging is rubbish and if you have to lift a corner it looses its stickiness. I may frame it if I can and it would look good. 2nd one didn't turn out at all. I attached the strip and had to readjust, a bit got caught and next thing I knew was I was trying to unstick it. Didn't work out so it got binned! 3rd attempt was much better and looks good, slight edging problems and nowhere near as good as professional one though. I don't think I'd get anymore.

Photo Canvas at Home..
Excellent product really like it - I read some reviews beforehand and thought for the price it was worth a go.The best advice I can give is read the instructions carefully - read them again to make sure you understand them and you shouldn't go wrong - I used this to make a present for my wife and she loves it gives a real professional finish.

Waste of time and money.
Got this for a present to see if it is a more cost effective way than using photo printing websites - it's not. Spent more than an hour downloading software, printing and attempting to stick, where at the last stage, the photo-film got stuck to itself and had a crease in the middle of the photo. It is impossible to unstuck it and correct it without the photo becoming stretched and distorted. It's just too fiddly and my picture is ruined. Save yourself an hour of trying annoyance and spend an extra ten quid at a website and get something that you can display.
