Game changer definitely need of you have a Dyson
I bought the Dyson and it did not come with this attachment. This attachment is game changer. It works on my bed and car seats which the Dyson attachment did not!

Decent replacement for a fraction of the price!
This replacement is decent and seems to pick up debris well; maybe not with quite the same power as the OEM, but we were pleasantly surprised. However, be aware that it does not have the slide adjustment to be able to lift and lower the head onto the carpet this made it a little more difficult to vacuum the higher pile carpets we have in our home.

Cleans tower fans!
We have several Dreo tower fans in the house. Cleaning them has always been a hassle. None of my many Dyson attachments were able to get into the fan blades to clean them. I got tired of spending money on compressed air, so I started to look for an alternative way to clean them. This little dust brush works! I used it, for the first time, yesterday and was pleased with how it did. I'm not sure how well the tightly packed bristles will hold up over time, but it was cheaper than a month's worth of compressed air. Even if it only lasts for six months, it's more than worth it.

Spend the extra $ on actual dyson replacement
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This replacement definitely works. It spins and fits great with my Dyson. I would say that it was probably worth 20 extra dollars to buy an actual Dyson replacement part because it just doesn’t seem to be as powerful as the original Dyson part. So it works, but I think that it’s a little less effective than a Dyson replacement.

What it doesn’t pick up
I’ve spent WAY too much time shopping/testing Dyson vacuum head replacements. Let me save you the time and hassle. On the surface, this head appears to clean *fine.* It picks up most obvious items. If you want the appearance of freshly vacuumed carpet, this does the trick. On hardwoods or bare floors, it’s obvious that this won’t work as well as the Dyson brand.I bought two replacement heads for my Dyson — this one and another name brand Dyson head. My original Dyson head has an adjustment which allows it to raise/lower. Both replacements (generic and named brand) did not. The difference between the three was alarming, especially on carpet in a home with two dogs.1) The first run with the generic head did fine. Not a ton of suction but it appeared to work okay. But then I went over everything with the replacement Dyson head.2) The replacement Dyson head picked up even more dirt/debris. My vacuum was completely full, almost as if I hadn’t vacuumed already.3) I went over everything for a THIRD time with my original adjustable Dyson head immediately following and that completely filled my vacuum again. It’s one thing to “feel” that the vaccine doesn’t suck up as much. It’s another to realize what that actually means in terms of the cleanliness of your floors. I was honestly grossed out by the idea that I thought the generic vacuum head had seemingly done the trick.Yes, these parts are expensive. The Dyson replacement was $100 — significantly more than this generic head. My original Dyson head would have been $150-$175. (The cost of a few regular vacuums!)I struggled with the idea of buying another expensive adjustable head. I also hated the idea of no longer being able to use a Dyson vacuum I paid good money for. I ultimately decided to get the head repaired at a shop for a fraction of the price to replace.
