I’m very pleased with this hat. So much better than straw ones that crush. The brim is nice and wide, and you can easily sit in the sun reading as it offers good shade. There is an additional tie cord with it that you can clip to little eyelets on the hat. Either over the top of the brim, and then you get a sort of ‘bonnet’. Or underneath, just to hold the hat in place in the wind, or hold it on your shoulders if you don’t want it on your head at the time. The brim is stiffer on the front side, you can turn the brim up a little if you want. Well worth the money, and nicely made from good fabric.

Good quality sun hat. It easily rolls up to keep in bag just in case needed. It's a little tight but it will give with time and protects me from the sun.

Lovely hat, fast delivery. Floppy and long enough on the back. It will hopefully save me from a heatstroke in Italy this Summer. There is a fold line, not too bad on the plain side and completely unnoticeable on the patterned side. It looks gorgeous on both sides. I went for the neutral beige, but they all look lovely. The bow is easy to fix, and you simply put it on the outside, it would be uncomfortable to have it on the inside. The bow is barely visible on the patterned side. For those still wondering or even complaining about the chin strap being visible on the outside, please put the clips on the reverse side, there are hoops on both sides! Quite a lot of unfair feedback here without fault of the product. I don't have a large head, but the size L is snug and I don't think any strap will be needed. Will keep it just in case.

Bit big but ok as a cover up

I bought this hat for a trip to Venice. Absolutely ideal for me as it will keep the sun off my face, and the brim can be adjusted slightly to style it differently. I like that it will fold down small for my packback and travelling, and there's a chin strap so I don't have to worry about the hat blowing away in the breeze. The chinstrap was quite difficult to affix, had to get hubby to do it! Sizing seems perfect and as described.

Arrived folded into a tiny package. Unfortunately there was a hard crease across the front which meant the hat looked awful. Tried to flatten the crease but the front is a more rigid construction and the fold had broken the cardboard like material inside. Waste of money

I did not like the hat first of all but I turned it around to the paisley and loved it! It is 100% coverage from the sun and looks good!

Comfortable, stylish hat which fits really well, and does the job of keeping the sun off your head and neck and out of your eyes very effectively. It folds well and can be packed into a suitcase or bag easily. It has a pretty bow to pin onto the hat band, however the safety pin attached is of poor quality and breaks easily.
