This is a great budget friendly booster which has increased the range of WiFi in my property. Great value compared to other brands. Great product.

This booster was advertised as ‘dual band’ which leads me to believe that it’s capable of recognising both the 2.5ghz and 5ghz bands. As a gamer I separate the bands on my router so I make sure my high capacity devices such as my computers are connected to the faster 5ghz band. Separate or not, if this is advertised as dual band on setup it should show both bands. I named the 2.5ghz band ‘heather’ and the 5.5ghz band ‘jon.’ Shown on the black picture. I went through the setup instructions for phone setup. Worked until I got to the stage of selecting my network from the list. ‘Heather’ was there but ‘jon’ was not. This is shown on the brown picture, the list of networks. Heather is listed; jon is not there. Therefore this booster is only single band. Regardless if you have separated the bands on your router or not, it will only recognise the slower 2.5ghz band which means if you are using your computer or other high demand device off the booster you will have a lot slower connection than your router is capable of giving out. For gaming this slower connection can mean lag, screen jerk and a poor gaming experience. In conclusion, this is miss-advertised. Should be advertised as single band 2.5ghz making it only suitable for word processing and web browsing. For my purposes its only fit for the bin which is where I suggest the manufacturer puts them while designing a booster as described that is dual band. Needed this to boost wifi to an outdoor building.Setup was simple using the web configure page (wps didn’t work) but this may have been due to the old router.Signal is great and currently running an internet connected camera from it.Quality is ok just a bit plasticky but it’s what I expected for the price.It just works.

This powered and boosted my WiFi. Worth every penny. Arrived on time and the description helped me to choose straightaway.

Considering this was a fairly cheap option compared to other signal boosters, we are quite pleased with the performance! It has quite a good range and was easy to install!We've seen people say that it stops working after a while, but so far it's been good to us. If something changes I'll update this, but so far, it's great for the price!

What a fabulous piece of kit. Easy to set up, even for someone slightly more mature like me. When I moved it to its permanent socket I needed to install the password again, but that’s no problem. I tested it by going upstairs. Initially I thought it wasn’t going to work but then it caught up with me. Went further upstairs to the bedroom and it was still working so I decided I would REALLY test it by going up yet another flight of stairs to the bathroom. It STILL worked. A brother tried a video call while I was up there but I wasn’t going to answer that in my birthday suit and a mouthful of toothbrush 😂.All in all a really GOOD wifi extender, I’d highly recommend it.
