I got the Aiolo Innovation 1TB external hard drive, and so far, it’s been a great purchase. It’s super compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry around. The design is sleek, and it feels pretty durable.Performance, it works smoothly. Transfer speeds are fast, definitely reliable for backing up files, videos, and photos. I’ve been using it to store large media files, and it hasn’t given me any issues.One thing I really like is that it’s plug-and-play and no complicated setup, just connect it, and it works instantly. If you need extra storage without spending too much, this is a solid option. Definitely worth it!

Fast, quiet, compact, compatible with Mac. I bought this to replace a slower Passport backup HDD. The USB-C to USB-C connection seems to permit a faster data transfer rate. Comes with a nice USB-A to -C adapter as well. I reformatted to APFS and use it with Time Machine; this combo provides fast backups that save space.

Never before have I had this much trouble with an HDD. Windows 11 didn't like it, Ubuntu 22 didn't like it, and Ubuntu 24 didn't like it. I purchased this as a media drive for long term storage and occasional use. During file copies it would require me to restart the exchange of most of the large video files I attempted to put on it. During playback it repeatedly gives Dbus errors and halts play. I reformatted it once and it worked in Ubuntu 22, but not 24. Haven't tried it again in Windows 11, but these errors would affect all operating systems. Purchased in November '24, it's now March '25, and the drive has become almost completely useless to me, and of course, beyond it's 30 day guarantee. I've no intention of contacting the company or purchasing anything from Aiolo Tech again.
