Q: I will have to use this indoors on a beam in my sitting room. How long before I can use the room again?

I would give it a good hour as the smell can be quite intense but I've used it in my bathroom quite extensively and it's dry after about an hour. Then I use the bathroom as normal.

Q: Once applied and dried, can it be painted over?

Yes. Just make sure it is completely absorbed and dried otherwise it will taint the paint.

Q: Do you spritz the wood lightly ..or leave it soaking?

Wet but do not soak. Two coats. Done.

Q: Can i use it on my shed which has been painted with blue wood preserver

As with all woodworm treatments, the recommendation is not to use on painted/ coated wood as it can’t soak into the timber.
