Love this coffee mug sleeve. Like that it's Microwavable and makes it easier to hold mug when hot!

This isn't a bad product, but I'm going to be critical so customers at least they know what they're getting. . . .1.) It's soft, no complaints there, but the strap that overlaps it is a little annoying. Some people might be able to get used to it, others might throw it at the wall. . . .2.) The insulation texture, density and smell is identical to the foam you'd find in a standard new mouse pad. That's not a bad thing, just an observation. . . .3.) Another reviewer complained about it smelling like rubber. My nose is picking up a "new car upholstery" (or new mouse pad), but not like hardcore industrial rubber. It's not a strong scent and it probably goes away over time, though perhaps it becomes more pronounced after being microwaved? I don't know, but I'll stick with my electric mug warmer plate. . . .4.) If the smell really bothers you, then just throw it in your laundry washer with an odor removing detergent and keep the Velcro attached to the mug wrap when you do so the Velcro doesn't pick up crap from your other laundry... AND you should probably air dry it too to avoid risk of it shrinking. . . .5.) Speaking of cleaning, I tend to frequently get a little coffee dribble on the outside of the mug. I don't like advertising stains to people that walk by. I can fix stains, but it would be APPRECIATED if it came in the color black so I don't feel compelled to wash it every few days... which is why I deliberately soaked mine in espresso and then rinsed the espresso out with, it fixed the color and the smell.... YEAH GO AHEAD, JUDGE ME!! Your hate only makes me stronger!! . . . .6.) The Velcro doesn't seem to have a strong hold. If you try to remove it frequently to clean your mug, expect the Velcro grip to start failing after a month or two. It just needs better material. I'm not shy to the idea of stitching on new Velcro, but I can see this being a deal breaker for other people. . . .Overall, I'd rate this as a wishful concept. I get the manufacturer is trying to accommodate various sized mugs with one product, but the feeling from that overlapping strap will probably throw a lot of people off, and no-one wants a cheap Velcro grip. Most people embrace coffee mugs (one hand on the handle, the other hand cupping the mug), so wanting a "consistent feel" and a lasting product that doesn't advertise stains just seems like an obvious oversight. They should consider spending a little time seeing what it will take to make an insulator with a simple stretchable slit for the handle, so you can just pull the product over a mug while still giving it a tight hug... and produce it in different sizes, different colors and deodorize it before literally sending it to the front of customer faces. Those are my thoughts to the manufacturer, hopefully they actually read this feedback.

Keeps coffee, tea and hot chocolate hot! Also prevents hands from burning when grabbing the side of the mug. Perfect for kids too. Another benefit is the grip it gives to the side of the mug when carrying.

I like the concept, and the product works as advertised, but boy did it have a very strong odor of rubber/oil. It was difficult to use it with hot beverages because of how strong the odor was. I've put it through the wash a few times and that seems to have helped.

I have arthritis, so being able to pick up a hot 16oz mug without burning my hand is a real plus.

This works great and looks good to keep the coffee warm, but the rubber has a strong smell.
