Got these to replace the plain black laces in my new casual ankle boots that will likely be worn daily. They're a nice mix of colors that are in most of my clothes, and add some personality to a plain practical shoe. The boots have a zipper for putting them on & off, so I knew once the shoestrings were set for comfort I wouldn't need to ever tie/untie them. The elasticity of these make that even easier.I knew these were advertised as "two pair", but the pictures made me think the elastic was just a long roll. I was surprised when five 47" laces arrived, but I see now that one picture does mention that. Was going to give the left over length to my small granddaughters to add more sparkle to their shoes after cutting what I needed for my two pair. Even after they arrived in 5 segments, enough length was cut from each lace that I still can!

I have a son with a muscle condition so many fine motor skills are more difficult for him and take him more time to do. He knows how to tie his shoes but the knots are not usually right and at school he doesn't have enough time to try to tie them properly. We bought these hoping that it would solve this problem for him without looking to "babyish". He loves them! It took a few tries to get it the right length for his shoes but once we did it was perfect! My son loves them, his friends love them, and it was a perfect solution for him. There are a few things they could improve on though...1. The laces are pretty thin. I wish they were a little thicker. Because they are so thin, after a little while of using them the elastic stretched out some and we had to re cut them.2. The magnets aren't strong enough. B my boy is very active and he said in the playground or when he plays soccer the magnets let go and his shoes are "untied"3. I wish the magnets came in black like the laces so that they would be less noticable. It's hard to be a kid these days and even harder to be a kid that is different. The less attention on things the better

Made my shoes easy to take off and put on as well as adding some flair. They were easy to lace and adjust. Bought some for others too.

Clips don't stay clipped and the laces then they loosen

Where have these been all my life. I'm now replacing all my laces with these bad boys! I have a rare, aggressive form of Osteoarthritis making even the smallest task very painful and time consuming. Now, putting on and removing my shoes is nearly pain free and fast.

I ordered these laces for VINE reviews.The laces are as expected. The elastic material is good and durable and same like other competitors in the market. It is helpful for my son who does not know how to tie his shoes laces. He always had trouble buying new shoes as he can't tie his laces. But these elastic laces have made our and his life better as now he can choose any shoes and just switch to these elastic laces.The major difference with these laces is after you put these on, you will need to cut the remaining of the laces so that you can pass the ends through provided clips and before doing that, the seller recommends to burn the ends so that the laces will not damage from ends later. Each clip is made of 2 magnetic parts and can easily attract each other. The ends have plastic cover on it as in all laces so these laces will be easy to pass through each shoes hole type.But the process of putting the laces in clips is bit complicated for common users as you need to cut and burn the ends and then put in the clips to tighten it. But what will happen if you cut the laces too short? Then you throw these and order new?

I first tried these on a pair of mid-tops and the elasticity was too tight, closing the neck before I could get my foot in. On the boots however, they fit great and are really comfortable to wear. If you like tight laces, however, this product probably isn’t for you.

I ordered these to replace the laces in a pair of my son's sneakers, as he takes forever to tie them. We received 3 laces (one spare) and 3 sets of locking clips.The laces are flat and easy to put into the shoes. Once they were laced, I got him to try them on and adjusted the tension to his satisfaction. Then it was a simple job to trim the laces, melt the ends to keep them from fraying, and insert into the clip.The magnetic clip is the one part I don't love about these laces. My son says one or the other clip has come open a number of times while he was in gym class. They're easy enough to clip back together, but other elastic laces I've used had locking clips that secure the laces on the inside of the sneaker, as opposed to across the top of the laces, and they have never moved or come open. I would prefer that style to this clip.Still, my son likes the laces and they have mostly solved the problem of having to take several minutes to retie a lace in the middle of sports and games. I'd still recommend them.

I have attached these to my doc martens and it has been the ultimate game changerI have an unhealthy love for Doc Martens. I have way too many pairsAnd my biggest issue I've ever had with them, especially living in Canada, is that it's just so god damn hard to take them off!These have been the ultimate game changer. It has made them all slip ons especially because of that wonderful holding tabe they all feature on the shoesAlso as a weird and wonderful added extra, the constant taking them on and off in this way softens the back heel faster for you.These are simple and effective laces and I'm sure make things easier for people who might have more wrist or finger problems which would make laces harder for people daily
