The Fake Mate: an unmissable steamy paranormal fake dating romcom

Je me suis laissée tenter par ce roman, et ce fut sans regret ! C'est un très bon livre pour commencer les Omegaverse. La relation entre les personnages est une évidence et les scènes explicites sont très sympathiques à lire.

Een fantastisch boek! Leuke tropes zoals enemies(ish) to lovers en fake dating. Ook een leuke manier met shifters geïntroduceerd. Hoop meer van zulke boeken te vinden!

Das Buch habe ich für meine Nichte zu Weihnachten gekauft. Zum Inhalt kann ich daher nichts sagen da ich es selbst nicht lesen werde. Der Zustand wie dieses erst vor ein Paar Tagen erschienene Buch allerdings bei mir ankam war schon nicht so toll. Es sieht aus als wäre es schon durch so einige Hände gegangen. Dabei kam es doch erst am 5.12 auf den Markt ?! Naja ich hoffe sie freut sich trotzdem und denkt nicht das es Flohmarkt Ramsch ist.

This book was readable and face based, however I was let down by the limited depth in all the characters.Besides being Alpha and Omega, there was little chemistry between Mackenzie and Noah - which was an absolute shame. Omegaverse books already have a 'fated mates' vibe to them and Fake Mates lacked the essential biological and physical need Alpha and Omegas have when they meet their mates. It's the epitome of insta love at its swoony best.Also, very little is revealed to the reader about what the 'Omegaverse' actually is. No hierarchy, no history and no sociatle pressures felt by either characters.For me, this was a very limp wristed attempt on a plot which offer so much to a book if done with gusto.

She's hilarious, quick-witted, and incredibly intelligent. Despite her sunny disposition, she's not afraid to wield sarcasm, which added a delightful edge to her character.Noah, on the other hand, is the epitome of the grumpy yet undeniably attractive alpha doctor who is adamant about leading a solitary life.The chemistry between Mackenzie and Noah is electric, and it was a joy to witness Noah's transformation as the story unfolded.I'm a sucker for the fake dating trope, so I was thrilled to find it incorporated into the story, and adding an Omegaverse twist was just the cherry on top.The book was an effortless read, with excellent pacing and writing. I found myself breezing through it over two sittings and thoroughly enjoying every moment.
